One Hundred Details: From the National Gallery, London (National Gallery London Publications)

I was trying to get my nephew interested in art and sometimes the details are more effective for young people than the overall composition for example he loves the painting of the beast in bermajo's st Michael triumphant. As at it happened we both enjoyed looking through this book. It is well written, well printed and the interesting aspects of the painting are just that, genuinely interesting.

I have bought one and the book is really nice with magnificent drawings and the product you receive is the same as the one you can see on the National Gallery (a pair of hands on the cover)despite the cover page pic on this page is inconsistent

Excellent condition, well-packaged, prompt delivery. If you like looking at paintings and like Kenneth Clark, it's worth reading. Made me think because some ideas and comparisons seem right and some I'm not so sure about.
