For the purpose as simple as holding my phone and ipad in certain positions, I probably have tried too many products ranging from the clamp type holder, wire type tablet stand, to an adjustable book stand. My shopping journey seems to be at an end when I got this little mighty thing.I was impressed by other's review showing this stand holds a portable display and decided to give it a try. I expected to receive it (actually just this evening) in a small box as the product is supposed to be compact from the description. What I didn't expect was when I tried to stretch it to the holding position, it actually needed quite a bit of strength. This gave me some confidence right away that this holder is going to be sturdy, without the fear of the angle sagging down gradually from the weight, which has happened often enough to be annoying with gooseneck holders.I have a 10.5" ipad pro with a hard plastic case on, and this stand can hold it at a wide range of angles. Basically the height and the screen angel are both adjustable and gives you varieties of combinations. But that is when only speaking of reading/displaying. When I was playing with the angles, I noticed that it tends to tip over if I am to type or touch on the screen even at almost vertical. I would think lowering the height and make the stand like a triangle would solve the problem, but this would also offset the purpose of raising the device. The rubber pads on the holder part are also well positioned, and my devices feel safe placing on the stand without sliding, say if you are reading and need to flip page it shouldn't be problems at all.Overall this seems to be a satisfying product! I will look forward to taking this stand with me when travelling, if able to any sooner...

I didn't expect to like this stand as much as I do.The bad: It can be a little wobbly if not on a perfectly flat surface and expect that your phone/tablet/etc is going to sit a little high up off the surface.The good: Everything else, it's perfect. It folds up so it's easy to carry around and while it's surprisingly heavy for it's size and footprint, it's a bonus because on flat surfaces it's absolutely sturdy. It has grippy pads on the bottom and on the areas where your device rests so I don't worry it's going to scratch anything. And if you flatten it out so the stand is low to the surface, it also works to take some weight from holding gaming devices; my Switch is too big and heavy for me to comfortably hold for long periods of time, but put my stand on a pillow and rest the Switch on it and it's unobtrusive, doesn't get in the way, and makes holding the Switch a TON easier. I use it at work too and it's perfect for holding my phone either landscape or portrait. I love this little stand so much I'm going to buy another one just so I can have one for home and one for work.

This is a great purchase. The quality is incredible and such a useful product. I use it every day! Material is heavy enough that doesn’t tip over easily and the hinges are still stiff enough that the phone stays in place perfectly. Has anti slip material in the bottom and does the job impeccably. I’ve had this stand for over 2 years now and still going strong. Would highly recommend!

I used to use a book/books to stand my phone when looking shows or looking at at the recipe which was not steady to hold phone tightly, so I had to readjust/secure my phone with something to study around it. But with this stand, I do not need to worry about it anymore. it is sturdy and safe to put electronic on it.the product is absolutely wonderful. I purchased for my IPad but used it more for my cell phone. It comes in handy when I need hands free for zoom meetings or conference calls. I love the ability to adjust it. Very portable and easy to fold and stuck in a purse or briefcase. It holds an IPad, but seems precarious and not very stable and falls over if you try to use your apps while it sits in the holder. A little pricey but good for long-term use.

This stand is a sturdy, attractive, all metal stand. Its two hinge design allows a lot of flexibility in adjusting the height, as well as angle. In my case, I am using this stand to a hold a spare Fire HD 6 tablet which I am now using as a dedicated macro touch pad with my Windows 10 desktop PC using a free app from macrodeck.org. For this application, I wanted the tablet sitting close to the surface of my computer desk and hold its position firmly since I am having to reach over to touch keys displayed on the tablet to trigger various macros on my PC. This stand works superbly for this application. I did not even have to remove the folio case from the tablet since the holder on this stand was wide enough the accommodate the tablet with its case. Its design also makes it easy to route a USB cable to the device through the stand for charging or data. I highly recommend this product.
