WORKS AS EXPECTED
I used this to pluck some Cornish Broilers. It seems to work really well. I think water temperature is important and had the best luck at 160 degrees with two or three dips in the scalding pot. With the proper water temp the large majority of the feathers came off in a few minutes per bird. I will be using it more as I have several more to process. I would buy again and although I don't have it very long, it seems to be made very well and should last a long time. Good for they guy that don't process a large number but maybe 15 or 30 birds at a time just for self use. Either way its way better than hand plucking.

Got the Job Done
I used with on ducks. When properly scaled, it plucked nicely without tearing the skin. Definitely works best when mounted to a solid structure and it took some finagling to make that happen but otherwise it worked well. Unless you have a foot pedal or other hands-free system, you will need 2 people to operate. Best if used at slowish speeds. It was also easy to clean. For a compact plucker meant to do a handful of birds at a time, I think it did pretty well.

Worked perfectly
Easy to use. Good quality. I did 6 birds as a first timer and the plucking went way faster than I thought using this drill attachment.

Good idea but no...
It was well built and stout but I was better and faster hand plucking. Don't waste your $

Not what I expected...use caution with this.
Maybe I used it wrong , but all it did was to beat up the chickens and turkeys...We tried this with several ' wet ' birds , and also after dunking the birds in hot water...Same results of bruised up birds and ripped skin..Several of us had the same results. Finally decided to finish the birds by manually plucking them , this beat them up so bad....My suggestion is to use caution if you try this tool..

fast shipping and solid product
The construction of this "drill plucker" is very substantial and heavy duty. Best used with a drill that has ample power to rotate the plucker at a variable speed. My corded drill with auxiliary side handle has no problem at all with a smooth operation.

I guess it works, but I gave up.
After multiple times trying to pluck pekins, I've given up. I know the skin is usually yummy...but I asked myself..WHY PLUCK A BIRD! Eventually I gave up, its SOOOO much faster just to skin them! Plucking a duck takes easily two hours and makes a massive mess. Skinning, I can do it in about 30 minutes. I don't pluck them anymore, not worth it!

Got this plucker for doing ducks/geese from hunting and it is a absolute beast. easily used with two people and mounted in a table top drill. Works great with dry birds as well as scalded but seems like dry is better for water fowl all in all an amazing product

I thought I’d try it out and was hopeful but thoroughly disappointed. It will pluck a bird, sort of… but it will also bruise it quite a bit if you aren’t careful. Much more convenient to just hand pluck or rent a machine. I wouldn’t buy this, save your money. It will now sit in our shop collecting dust

Fastened tightly to bench, your bird won’t have a feather left. Fast with no bruising it makes short work of the job. Proper water temp is vital. You might get a few feathers on you but the price is right if you only have 20 to 30 birds it won’t break the bank..Thanks

It definitely made plucking faster than doing it solely by hand, but it doesn't replace a drum plucker
