Very surprised on how heavy duty this office chair replacement part is. I bought the 500 pound part and it is definitely thicker and way heavier than expected. Fit my office chair perfectly. Value of money high! Easy installation and fit perfectly! My chair has never been sturdier. Noise level non existent! Very heavy duty part. I would recommend to everyone! Functions better than ! You can tell this part is going to last long!

Worth its weight in gold. I’m a fat guy, no lie, and my old chair part I replaced this with tore, yes tore like a piece of paper. This one is super beefy and is holding up to my weight so far. I’d buy another one if I have another paper chair part in the future. Not getting younger or skinnier.

Hello Amazon, I bought this mount as a replacement for an older chair that I needed a new gas tube for. The chair itself was in good shape, but the mechanism over the years had its wear and tear, plus younger me did not know how to get the old piston loose ( before you tube existed) so, time to buy a new one. Built well, really seems solid, and the replacement support fit right in. The bolt holes into the chair cushion lined up, and in typical replacement time including a phone call, the chair was put back into my office and I am sitting on it now. I paired it with the Ohmyoffice brand chair cylinder as they promised a 1000 pound class 4 support. I am nowhere near that heavy, but heavy duty chair mount, heavy duty chair cylinder. so far so good. I think if you have to replace yours, this might be the one! Thank you for reading my review.

Easy install. And it works.

This mounting base is WAY more heavy duty than the original. The metal frame is at least twice as thick as the original. The pivot bushings, which is the part that wore out on my original part, are more than twice as thick as the original ones. Overall this mounting base shoudl last a very long time, I highly recommend it if you need a replacement mounting base for your office chair.

It appears to be working great. The only catch is removing the old one. I recommend WD40 overnight, and then hammer it off.
