Kindergarten Numbers & Sight Words Workout (Sylvan Beginner Workbook)

Description

2 BOOKS IN 1—based on Sylvan's proven techniques for kindergarten success! A solid foundation in basic reading readiness and math skills prepares kindergarteners for success in both school and the real world. The teacher-reviewed, curriculum-based activities and exercises in this workbook will help children catch up, keep up, and develop a love of learning—and best of all, they'll have lots of fun doing it! Some of the great features you'll find inside this workout book include: NUMBERS & COUNTING RACE TO PLACE. Children learn ordinal numbers by looking at pictures of races and stating which runners come in 1st, 3rd, and 10th. WHICH HAS MORE? Kids practice the concepts of estimating and comparing by guessing the number of candles on a birthday cake, or which chicken in a coop has laid more eggs. SUCCESS WITH SIGHT WORDS SPOT THE DOTS. Connecting the dots by drawing lines from sight word to sight word in alphabetical order leads children to a surprise picture as a reward. MEET IN THE MIDDLE. Helping two kids find the middle of a maze based on words in colorful pictures is a fun way to reinforce recognition of high-frequency verbs, pronouns, and prepositions. Give your kindergartener's learning and confidence a boost with Kindergarten Numbers & Sight Words Workout !
