It takes quite an effort to set it up and some basic know how on pc or laptops. As someone who never replaced a printer cartridge in my life, i still manage to slowly figure it out, so i guess you should be fine. The software guides you through step by step but it doesnt work sometimes and you'll have to do some minor trouble shooting. The package did not come with printer cable so you have to do it thru wifi, so for those who use ethernet and dont have wifi on your PC then you might want to take care of that. Laptops/ mobile devices should be easier to setup. Print quality is good on testing, prints a bit slow but its as expected of this pricepoint.

I was looking for a small and affordable printer for occasional use. The cartridges are rather small, so in no way I'd recommend this for heavy duty stuff, but if you need to sign a quick contract or print a sample, it is the perfect match. Setup is easy, but make sure you read the guide. I was used to adding printers automatically through windows, but this one required an app regardless of the device. Overall, 10/10 for value for money. Oh, and it arrived same day - thanks Amazon

This is quite literally the worst printer I have ever used.Setup procedure took about 2 hours because the app spends several minutes on every step and always fails at the final stage "registering printer"I tried two different phone apps and a windows PC app but still the same result, the setup procedure refuses to complete.As a result, I can still see the printer inside my app so I tried printing some stuff, it works from phone about 10% of the time, the rest you will either get an error that printer is busy (even though its doing nothing), or the printer job will start and get stuck half way through or it will say printing finished but nothing comes out and no error message on the app or printer display.My advise is to avoid this printer at all costs.

I ordered this Printer for regular home use and later read the review on complications involved with set up. I had no problems when I bought my previous HP printer and was so much upset with Canon Ink Tank printer set up, that really had such complex set up and user unfriendly features.So surprised and relieved with the ease with which I could set up this printer. I did not face any of the issues mentioned in the reviews and in fact, surprised that the printer Wi-Fi joined my Router without even entering the password (I guess, when I was asked to press the Info button on the printer, I guess it kind of acted like a WPS set up). However, I am still struggling to register my product on HP website for some strange reason.The performance so far is as expected and user interface is pretty cool. I have not printed from my mobile yet but printing and scanning from my Laptop is pretty straight forward.Received the printer in a sealed box, very well protected and very happy with my purchase so far.

best budgeted printer but the quality of it is not really nice its all plastic

There was no indication when purchasing this unit that it only connected on a certain hertz range and had an issue with 5G connectivity.Every time I want to print something I have to go through the whole process of adding the printer again to my HP app
