This is extremely easy to setup and get going. Turn one of your loose nvme drives into a fast external storage device. It’s so compact you can take it everywhere you go and it looks nice! The branding might be a little much for some but I like it! I call this one a win! Would recommend!

This ORICO enclosure is great. It's simple to use and works as it's supposed to work. You simply slide the top cover back a little and then pop it off. It doesn't get any easier than that. It didn't come with the screw(s) to screw down the ssd which I figured it would. It did come with a heatsink that snas right on top of the ssd though and that seems to hold the ssd down when you put the toop back on.It comes with a cable that was surprisingly a decent length, not like many others that are only six inches long. This one is a usb-c and usb-a end for use in either a usb 3.0 port or usb-c port.The transfer speed through the usb-c port is lightning fast. I'm not a guru when it comes to 2.5 ssd's or m2 nvme ssd's but in my opinion, having transferred an entire directory of videos through the usb-c port, it fast extremely fast, like within a few seconds fast and that was about 1.5GB.I'm very impressed with this enclosure for ease of use and the cable length. Great price, great performance and exactly what I was looking for.

This is an excellent enclosure. Very light and super easy to use. You can have a huge amount of storage and barely feel it in your pocket. I am using this as a movie drive for vacations and travel so I have hundreds of movies I can play almost anywhere, including my phone and tablet, in this tiny case. So far no over-heating problems and it's super quick. Unlike my previous drives no moving parts and very low power. My tablet and phone both power this no problem. Highly recommend.

I chose this NVME enclosure for the plastic case, figuring it would be less likely to damage other equipment, and strong enough for the weight to handle drops or knocks. I also really like the 2-in-1 cable, so there's no adaptor to lose or extra cable to keep track of. The included heatsink is simple, but it seems to work just fine.I installed a WD SN770 1tb, which is a PCIe 4.0 drive. My computer only has USB 3.0, so my CrystalDiskMark scores were fairly unimpressive. However, I was able to clone my Windows 10 boot drive (54.7 GB) from a SATA SSD in 6:53, and even with a plastic case, the WD drive only got to 47C.I'm perfectly happy with those numbers, and for my intended use for this enclosure (backups and large file transfers), heat should never be an issue.

Unfortunately this enclosure although looked nice and shiny it quickly turned out to be a nightmare for me.Maybe because I have arthritis but I couldn't slide the panel off .It was smooth as smooth can be with no arrows to indicate which way to slide it. I assumed one had to pry it of which also was difficult without defacing the plastic .I finally got it off .One also has to plug in the drive and then bolt it in place. Well that was not as hard but a little uncomfortable because I had to bend slightly to get it out of the enclosure..I got it out but then its impossible for me for whatever reason to place it back in. You really need a special tool or a highly gifted craftsman to do it manually. after all that don't have an enclosure anymore just a circuit board without a home .I'm not going to send it back but i definitely don't recommend this product for anyone who was planning on an enclosed protected circuit boardThe usb cable is nice and short and the circuit board is ok and it didn't cost that much so ill just bite the bullet and keep the item.

I paired this with an external M.2 NVMe SSD to use as an external boot drive for the company laptop and it works well for the task. The small size and durability of a SSD with the enclosure is its best selling point for me.The case does get warm with extended use, I’m hoping the plastic of the case along with the included plastic fin (or heat sink) and thermal pad will be enough to prevent damage to the SSD. I would have preferred a metal screw vs. the included silicon screw for holding the SSD in the case.You’ll need to initialize and format a newly installed SSD if you’re using it on a windows pc.

Works for a SSD that I had my PS5 and I've changed it to a bigger one. So I had a spare 1tb and wanted an enclosure to use as an external drive. This enclosure fitted it great , was very easy to install 👍

So I bought an internal nvme crucial 1tb memory card for my asus f15 laptop to extend my gaming collection for a second time lol.However upon removing the back to try to slot it in to the free slot I couldn't get one of the screws out and didn't want to force it as I'm not that good with DIY or electronics and didn't want to damage it further. Que alot of swearing 🤬Came across this and it pretty much solved my issues arrived fast and I slotted the card in, it came with its own heat-sink and USB 4 and a 3.2 USB adapter so not only did it boost my laptops memory but it also went straight into my new laptop (upgraded only this week) that only takes usb4 and it even faster downloading now through usb4 then the 3.2 so all in all I recommend for a very simple solution to extending your memory with out having to take off the back of the laptop. Just for reference I was getting 8/9 mbs through the 3.2 adapter I'm now getting 72mbs so much faster with usb4.
