This is great for setting boundaries for the cat who instead of a scratching post likes to use my leather sofa

I think these points are way too sharp. I think they would hurt a dog or cat's feet. I am using them to keep a small dog out of a certain area in my garage. I put the mats on the floor and then stepped on them with my shoes on to crush the sharp points so it is now a bent over tip and not very sharp. They still deter the dog from stepping on them. If you stepped on these without a shoe on, it would be very painful. Also, if you put these on a hard surface floor, they can easily slide around. If you step on one they can slide out from under you.

The media could not be loaded.  I have 2 six month old kittens that are very curious. I put these under my Christmas Tree they never touched it! I also put these on my kitchen counters at night to keep them down. They are also customizable. They can bs cut to the size of the area you want to keep your kitty cats out of! Highly recommend!

got these to keep cats out of my room at a rental. they just jump over. i got the clear ones so i forget they are there and step on them accidentally and sent myself to the moon!
