Very handy tool to get the job done
Works well for the purpose of what I used it. Fits nice and comfortable in my right hand. Good guard. Good power. Enough power to cut metal screw like butter. Additional wheels have been provided in the kit. Great value for the money. 2 Batteries provided! Always nice to be well prepared. I hope this one last for a good while. Thank you, Seller.

BEST ONE OUT THERE-BRUSHLESS 16.8VOLT
I just had to write this review so others wouldnt waste thier money on these 12volt things like i did for quite the while before i got the best ones out there.Well anyways i had bought several different brands of the 12 volt mini angle grinders and they were all alike...under powered and didnt run for very long.I also took some of the battery packs apart and found most were not the advertised capacity.Well anyways i saw this one advertised with a 16.8 volt battery and BRUSHED motor.Said 16.8 ? Got to be better than the 12volt ones.Sure enough it makes all the difference in the world.Way more powerful and way longer work times...what a differece.Dont even waste your time or money on the 12 volt ones.Anyways after awhile i noticed seller had now an even newer 16.8 volt upgraded model of the same with way more features so i decided to get that one...not that the other one was obsolete or not the best i evewr had.I loved the first model and to me it was the best compared to any 12volt ones.So now that i got this upgraded version to me there is none better even though the original is still great...LOL.They both come in a very sturdy blow molded case for storing and have 6 diff 3inch cutting, sanding and grindind discs.Pair of safety gloves and charger. The original one came with one battery and and new one comes with two 16.8 batteries.NICE !!!!.Now here is some of nice new feature for the upgraded one. First off the new one now comes with a BRUSHLESS motor intead of the BRUSHED.We all know that means less heat, more power, lasts longer and smoother and quieter. There is also a one click push button for spindle lock for changing blades easily.Push once it locks push again unlock.Cant get any easier than that.On back end of motor there is now a nice digital battery voltage readout.Lov it !!!.The power switch is also easier to use especially compared to all those 12 volt models out there.Be sure to check out the pics to see the nice improvements and features of this upgrade and to me the besat one for sale out there.

battery operated grinder five thumbs up
this little thing works great. I needed it to take the caps off my tires from my car because they were corroded and I had to grind them off. This thing did the trick. has quite a bit a little power for this little thing.

DANGEROUS Defective Design -- Don't Lose Your Thumb!
This little tool is powerful in a small size, but it contains a design defect that makes it unreasonably dangerous and it should be recalled. The defect is that the blade guard swivels about 30⁰, but the end point of the swivel completely exposes your thumb such that when you let go of the safety button, if the guard has swiveled to that endpoint, you're nearly guaranteed to hit your thumb on the blade. And, the swivel does not require a release, meaning it could look safe when you start using it but swivel while working and instantly become a dangerous instrument. I'm lucky to still have my thumb. Do not buy.

Could easily be a quality tool, but it lacks a bit of development to get there.
Could easily be better built, and it would last a lot longer. Some people are saying it is too noisy. Others say it got so hot it stopped working in a minute. But why? I'm a mechanical engineer, and very curious, so I got one of these brand new and after noticing it is indeed very noisy, and the noise itself seems like something is loose inside, I've opened it. This thing has one wheel bearing mounted on the motor axle, very close to the end point where you attach the cutting disk. Good, it has to have one right there to provide strength as you torque the cutting disk onto the material you're cutting. But this wheel bearing outer shell is held only by the plastic enclosure, and it's loose. Even tightening the two screws really well on that neck of the tool, does not prevent the whole wheel bearing from spinning inside the tool. Spinning not just its core with the motor axle, but the whole bearing body is spinning, which causes a lot of friction with the plastic enclosure, and could eventually melt it. Fixed by adding a layer of aluminum around the wheel bearing so when compressing the plastic shells back together, the bearing is firmly pressed against, and no more noises that are not supposed to be there. The motor now runs smooth, as quiet as it runs outside the shell, and I notice no heat that would rather be abnormal. It is not a tool to run for many many minutes non-stop anyway. This is for quick jobs, run and stop, run and stop, but still, the way the wheel bearing was loose inside is not something acceptable even for a minute run. I don't think many people would be able to do this fix, and I don't recommend trying, unless you have the experience, so better just buy a well known quality tool instead. I don't recommend this tool. If this post survives, I'll get back to it and post some pictures.

Got the job done.
I bought it 2 months ago, first used today to sand down a door and door frame that have been rubbing and binding for years. I charged the battery when I first bought it and it just sat there until today. It worked very well, the sanding wheel that came with it did a great job after I learned to control it properly, less pressure is the way to go. Go easy you can't put it back once taken off. The sanding was on and off for about 45 minutes, the battery did well and the unit was smooth and easy on the hand, you can easily use it with one hand or 2 hands when you want greater precision. I completed the job, no more rubbing, I painted the door and frame. The results passed my wife's eye and performance test and that is not easy. This tool is fine for DIY projects around the home, it is light very portable and convenient. I don't know the limits of the batteries but it comes with two so the tool should not leave you stranded in the middle of a job. This is a multi-tool and it is not perfect for every job, for example it won't sand into a 90 degree corner but it will get you close enough. I like the tool it made my job much faster and easier and the wife is happy, what more can you ask for...
