Don't Buy This Tool
Do NOT buy these pliers. There is nothing about these pliers that is acceptable. The fit and finish is a rough unsmoothed casting, the spring loaded locking mechanism is so poorly manufacturered that is will not slide without jamming (defeats the purpose of an auto release lock) and as another reviewer commented, the twisting mechanism bushing failed after a single use. I have just ordered the OTC product as a replacement. Depending on the effort, these will be returned or tossed.

Not worth it
I'm an aircraft mechanic that heavily relies on his safety wire pliers on a daily basis.The grommet that allows them to twist stripped after 20-30 safeties so I threw them in the garbage.Don't buy if you intend to do a lot of safetying.

As a aircraft mechanic. These twisters is all you need. Don’t waste your money on the brand name. This product is all you’ll ever need. My last no name twisters lasted 20 years.
