It is difficult to tell until I need to get the chimney cleaned at the end of the season. It is fairly simple to use, simply toss a dose onto a medium fire. I can update the review once I have had a season to use this product.

Bought for our fireplace in our 100 yr old cabin after we brushed the flue it keeps the soothing down to NO ACCUMULATION!! I waited for the winter season to be over to review. Amazing results!!!

I recently used the KABIN Kathite Chimney Sweep Cleaner, and I'm impressed. It's easy to use and works well.The instructions are clear, making the process straightforward.After applying it, I noticed a significant reduction in creosote buildup. My fireplace burns more efficiently now. It's compatible with all wood and pellet stoves, which is a plus.However, I wish the packaging was more durable. Mine arrived slightly damaged. Despite this, the product inside was fine. Overall, it's a great investment for maintaining a safe and efficient chimney.

Purchased in January in the middle of wood stove season. Every year we clean the chimney and stove and fill multiple buckets with debris. What a shock after using this product for a few months. No buckets needed. Just a small amount of debris in the shop vacuum. We could probably have just skipped the clean out. This product absolutely reduces creosote just as it says it will. I am a believer.

For years we used the other chimney cleaning crystals but they were out of it so I tried this.Omg, I can’t say enough good things about this product! It has dissolved the creosote and turned it to fine crumbles. I clean chimney and pipes monthly. The other product turn creosote to glass. This is even dissolving that. There was nothing in our pipes to clean but a nothing but a Handful of dust! This product is wonderful. Ordering more so I always have on hand. It even kept glass window clean! A first! Thank you! Now I can sleep at night.

This has a bit of a smell and can't really tell if it's working or not...
