Straight swop
These appear so far to be good quality replacement cartridges. The seller also offer the brass shrouds that the cartridges go into before fitting into the tap housing, as the old ones can be differcult to separate. it is recommended that you buy these as well to make the job easier. At the moment there are not issues and the tap is back to its original working condition. Would endorse buying these as they are reasonably priced for a part and delivered through Amazon quickly.

Brilliant for a "non plumber"
The product arrived earlier than I expected, in good condition.I was not looking forward to fitting it as I am not a plumber, but it was so easy. The only tricky part was matching the position of the splines when tightening the large installation nuts, as this determines the correct position of the "on/off" levers. A well made product, very good value for money. (The dripping tap had been driving me mad for a while". No longer!

Replacement valves for Franke tap
The valves are easy to replace and fit well. They appear a little stiffer to operate than the originals but that may improve with time.

Have the right tools.
I'm not a plumber and I found this product does exactly what is needed for a fair price. Just be sure to survey your tap fitting first to be sure how to take it apart. Depending on the exact Franke tap you have you may need pipe pliers as well as a suitable sized spanner (or maybe adjustable) as there may be an adapter piece that may (or may not) unscrew with the old cartridge, as the supplier warns. I found this can be a beast to unscrew from the cartridge. Otherwise, there should be no other problem. One piece of advice I would give is not to trust the Allen key supplied with the cartridges when trying to remove the tap lever. I found the tap's grub screw was so obstinate to remove, it simply burred over the hex of the key. My own forged steel key removed the screw fairly easily.Notwithstanding the fitting caveats above, I still gave it 5 stars as they were nothing more than might be expected when changing a cartridge.
