Works exactly as described

Works amazing
Greta to just lock away your phone, has a space to answer calls. Does slightly block phone signal but it means people don't want to spend too long on the phone

Great for digital detox
Bought to give me some time away as like many I can get a bit addicted to my phone. It’s now locked in there for at least 12 hours a day!

Takes ages to set locking time for 48hrs
Does as described but is awkward to set for a long locking time. Takes ages

Only two emergency unlocks is a terrible design flaw
The concept is great and I like the aesthetics. It does have design flaws. It has a removable rubber insert that should allow you answer an incoming call if needed in an emergency, however, the box triggers my phone's 'pocket mode' so I can't answer it in the box. No problem, I thought, it's got an emergency unlocks setting. The device is limited to 2 emergency unlocks over the lifetime of the product and no apparent way of resetting it.This is a serious issue if you have a young family like me and makes the device unusable.

Quite the remedy for those glued to their phones!
Until i came across this product, I hadn't been aware such a thing existed. On opening the V1.0 Lockbox, i was pleasantly surprised with the feel and finish of the product. It's made mostly of plastic, with the rubber insert intended to make your phone accessible in case of a phone call. It left a good impression on me, but what left an even great impression on me was the functionality, and how good the lock was. At first sight, it didn't look like it could possibly withstand even a modest amount of force, but after making an attempt to open the top cover, I was instantly proven wrong. Therefore it gets my certification for a high quality lock, as it works exactly as intended and with plenty of force to withstand even the strongest of people.I can attest to it's rugged dependability as a phone lock, and can thus happily recommend it.

Focus on Life not the PHONE
The lockbox had been more of a surprise to myself than I realised. I say I detest my phone but have found that with this little device just how often I picked it up without consciously realising. It’s simple to use and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Excellent for spending quality time with the other half without absentmindedly letting the phone distract you. It’s also great for using with teens who need a time out. I’ve gone from the cool uncle to the bad wolf but it is making them do their homework and eat before they can begin indulging mindlessly on instagram etc. My nice now hates me as her mum has now got one of these to use as Time Outs for studying too.A nice bit of kit.

Not bad
The media could not be loaded. In today's society, having a way to shut yourself off your phone have become a necessity and this device doesn't do badly. Personally I think it's better suited to kids nd keeping them from their movies for a specific amount of time. It's large enough to fit the largest of devices. It's pretty lightweight and has a power and setting button to set the timer based on how many clicks you give it. Only issue I've got with this, is that it charges via micro USB which is extemely outdated, it's almost a struggle to find this in anyone's home. Otherwise not a bad device
