VocheBench Mountable Power Drill Plunge Stand with Depth Gauge + 65mm Drill Press Vice

The instruction manual states it has a cast iron base but in fact it is 100% aluminium and has been tested with a magnet.Item is described as 5 star quality. in advert but not even close

Easy to assemble initial feel was promising however upon fitting the drill I'd kept by to use with this product It became less sturdy.Though I think this has to do with the size of drill I'm using ( using it because it has a variable speed )I think a lighter drill would work better but I wanted the power to do mortice cut outs I'll see how it fairs to my abuse but have a feeling it's just a stepping stone to an actual pillar drill !

Set this up. On the surface it looks ok. I understand it's not a pillar drill more a poor man's version. But as soon as you mount any drill ( I have 3 ) and press the Leaver down it twists and bends all over the place.

Drill plunge stand is outworn after trying to drill 200 holes. The iron is too soft. The other item is pure crap.

ok and easy to use ,but i have to keep replacing the the locking bolt on the adjustable head , possibly my old bl;ack & decker drill might be too heavy?

Very flimsy build quality. Used it for less than an hour before threads on bolts started giving in, and Ihad to replace them for sturdier ones. Lot of lateral movement when lovering drill. Absolutely not suitable for any work requiring any kind of precision.

Assembly needs a bit of thought not obvious how parts connect.

The stand was light, compact and strong for its size. It was easy to assemble too. I purchased it for drilling glass and pottery and it is ideal for my purpose. The price is good and was delivered quickly.
