I recently installed a new hand-held shower head in my master bath, and it was a bit higher than the previous head. I needed this extension to lower the overall head.The item was exactly as described on Amazon, and came well-packaged - like a quality item (for the price, I was actually a bit surprised). The instructions were clear. The kit included teflon tape and extra washers (one of which I needed).Worked without leaking the first time! (when does a plumbing job ever go that smoothly?!?)

i needed a short extension to my existing shower pipe. i didn't want anything large, because that would put more strain on the existing pipe. this one is only three inches long, so it was perfect. exactly what i needed, and took less than five minutes to install.

My shower arm was too high and close to the ceiling so I needed something to extend the arm a few inches lower. Found this on Amazon and it's perfect for what I needed! Now I don't have to stretch up to change settings on my shower head! I used better quality plumbing tape as I read that the tape that came with the extension piece wasn't great. I installed it myself along with my new handheld shower and no leaks and works perfectly!

My wife and I recently purchased a rain shower head and a handheld spray combo for our principal ensuite shower. When I bought the model with a handheld spray, I hoped this would work in our shower enclosure. I was skeptical as this showerhead rises almost 25.5cm (10"). Suppose you have a rectangular one-piece acrylic shower enclosure or a similar one-piece bath/shower enclosure as we do. In that case, you will know that the shower head arm (the small, angular plumbing pipe coming out of the wall where the shower head is attached) is very close to the enclosure's ceiling. As I suspected, the new rain shower head was too tall to fit on the shower head arm.I did not despair. I knew that there was a solution to this dilemma. I required a shower head extension arm that fits onto the existing shower head arm. I also learned that I could find these on the Amazon Canada website. I needed a 15.2cm (6in) extension.The OFFO shower arm extension worked perfectly for my purposes. It was made of stainless steel and chrome. It quickly attached to the existing shower head arm, and my new rain shower head was installed perfectly.
