3.5mm Mini Jack Chassis Panel Mount Stereo Headphone Input Socket Connector

So simple, does the job as intended - a quick drilling of an hole to site in the box it was needed for, then solder the wires on and hey presto! - all up and running. Plus it came quick delivery-wise.

Used it on Bayerdynamic dt770 and it fits quite well.

Used this to add a socket to my Sony MDR-7506 headphones. The thread wasn't quite deep enough so had to affix to the inside with hot glue, but I'm otherwise happy with the quality of this socket, looks good and seems robust.

Good product

Standard 3.5mm Jack socket, which if hand soldered ,would benefit from first fitting a male 3.5mm plug to ensure the internal contacts don't fractionally droop, as the plastic around each contact can get very hot. This is a 3 contact socket for stereo applications, if used in a combined speaker & amplifier pressured unit, the empty 4th contact slot might create a slight pressure leak. There are black and grey versions of this type of socket, I prefer the black.

Used this as a socket in my car to plug my iPhone in to, to listen to music. Works fine.

Not much to say except that it works as it is supposed to and it's got a nice finish when installed in some kind of trim or panel.
