Works great, no leaks
I use drip irrigation for potted plants next to & on my patio. I have a couple of timers that I use with the ¼ tubing. This adapter works great to connect to a timer with no leaks. The timer has a ¾ inch connection.

Maybe it fits, maybe it doesn't...
Claims it will fit any 1/4" drip tubing but it's not true - does loosely fit some old USA Blue Stripe Toro 1/4" tubing but slips right off new Chinese *and* RainDrip 1/4" tubing and whadda you know, the hole is measurably larger that one purchased previously from Ace Hardware (exact same SKU) either Rain Bird has changed the connector (and presumably the tubing which used to be identical in diameter to RainDrip/Orbit/Toro...) to be brand-specific or Amazon got some reject/irregular/seconds from a dodgy third-party seller thay are co-mingled with the "good" Rain Bird fittings...

So simple and so functional effective!
At first, I wondered how good this part could be as I was replacing a more complex one, but was pleasantly surprised on how well it works.

Can't hold same-brand 1/4" blank tubing
Maybe this is understood by regular users of this kind of thing, but there is nothing to hold the tube in the adapter. It's not a compression fit, it's just a hole the tube fits through. You have to use some kind of tube expander, such as a barbed coupling, that will fatten it enough to not just pop out. Even though when on with the internal pressure causing the coupling-enlarged end to jam into place, water sprays out in a fine mist due to the imperfect fit. I just ordered some silicone sealant that I'm going to glob in there. I'll update this review once I do. If it works, $2 for the adapter and $7 for sealant isn't bad, since I'll need more adapters anyway.

Great product, great price!
So far so good! Honestly, the simplicity of the adapter and the low price made me question if it would actually work. You basically just stuff and wiggle the 1/4 inch tubing into the hole and attach it to your spigot or spigot timer. I just thought there would be more to it than that, but it was that simple.I thought the water pressure would shoot the tube out when the water turned on, but everything was all good.Using in a small garden drip irrigation system attached to a timer.Great product, great price.
