Weekend fun. Bought 2 for my kids to take them our exploring. They work very well. Came with headphones and even a small folding shovel. It does have a loud beep when you are close to metal. You can set the alarm to avoid pennies if you choose. There's a volume button and it adjust well. The large display screen makes it easy o see as well as being able to hear . It's alot of fun. Even if nothing is ever found its always a priceless time spent out with family.

I got this metal detector because it was affordable, and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something that I had never used before. Took it for about an hour, and the little shovel had already bent quite a bit. I tried to bend it back, but it's still not quite right. This metal detector found a small screw over 6 inches deep. Had to stop because of the shovel not letting me get deep enough to retrieve what was setting off the detector. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase. I just need to get a heavy duty trowel or shovel, and problem solved.

HiThis is my second metal detector I have purchased thru Amazon. Great price, arrived on time and worked as manufacturers manual stated. I used it on a vacation in Vero Beach to search for gold, silver or anything that it could detect. Right out of the box within 10 feet from the car I found a silver ring, antique fishing lures and other items. Unfortunately that gold mine wasn’t there that day. But it did operate easily and without issues. Great for the family and lots of fun for grandkids and my treasure hunting adventure. It also found my property Boundry markers and saved me a small fortune in having to hire a surveyor. Worth the time and money to and a fun way to spend your day on the beach or local parks treasure hunting.Enjoy

Doesn't not work at all won't power up

This is good for children 10 to adult. It’s made well and has a headset and comes with a pinpointer .Something to keep a grandson busy all year.It’s a good buy.

It does a great job finding treasures

I didn’t use the settings for different type metals, but quickly found lost parts from a go-cart we were looking for. Also found roofing nails and stuff like that. It’s comfortable and fun to use.

I'm new at this. Got the detector yesterday and learning a lot. My problem is the new 9v batteries drained after a half hour of running. What am I doing wrong?
