You get what you pay for. This is the nicest tripod I have ever seen and the price is not even relevant. Just WOW!! SOLID, Not as thin as I thought it would be and sooo lite. If you are looking for a tripod this is it. But a head then later buy the tripod. I tried nwer77 and it was okay for someone but just buy a tripod and choose your head. Love love love this sirui. Did I already say I really like this tripod.

I have been using a tripod for years and have loved it. it is an aluminum tripod made by zomei.... bought from amazon. It has been through a lot.... used in the ocean surf, mountain streams, trails and roads and fields. I used the monopod alone for countless hours. the "foot" of the monopod leg eventually came loose and would fall off once in a while, so I thought it was time to preemptively buy a replacement. I took advantage of prime day price.Wow..... this is a good example of not knowing what you might be missing. I was skeptical about the additional weight, but it is totally worth it.... the weight, price, size.....everything! this tripod is solid. For the extra stability and height the extra weight is forgiven immediately. I think it will take a little getting used to no center post, since that makes it so easy to adjust height, but also that substantially reduces stability, so probably a blessing in disguise. The spike feet, although oddly heavy, ad even more to stability. For long shots, with long lens, this is a HUGE deal. The spikes with added weight hung from hook make this tripod stable as a rock.anyway, the main purpose for this review is to encourage those thinking of upgrading from a midrange type tripod. It is definately something you will notice and appreciate...and honestly probably NEED. I know I did/do.some mention the bag.... I guess it is nice. I most likely won't ever use it after having removed the tripod from it and strapped it to my backpack. Seems a weird thing to even think about when it comes to a tripod. I'll probably store my old tripod in it.

I wanted a lighter tripod for long hiking trips that wouldn't break the bank, but would be more stable than extremely light tripods. I decided to give this one a shot and I'm quite happy with it. It's about 1.5 lbs lighter than my heavy duty Gitzo tripod. It can extend just as tall, and I like this one because there's no center leg so I can mount my camera very close to the ground with this one. The legs are sturdy and easy to extend or collapse. It's very stable as well and is a good weight for hiking. For the price point, I'm extremely happy with this purchase.

If this was much larger because I am 5'9 and a half and trying to look down into a viewfinder which only 47 in tall and I'm a lot taller like about another two feet practically yeah it hurts the backAgain lightweight very strong very sturdy it fell in the lake once and still works like a charm just not tall enough

You need to read the descriptions of these things carefully. Item photos are deceptive, looks bigger than it really is. I’ve used it once so far and am very impressed by its performance. Quality seems high. Leg locks in particular feel solid.

Very sturdy and lightweight, appears to be high quality. Not full height, but workable for me. Comes with 'canvas' case, this is also nice but is quite a bit bigger than necessary, width and length, even with ball-head installed.

The tripod is amazing light but sturdy. It is easy to set up. Not having a center post makes height adjustments harder but makes the tripod lighter. Not a bad trade.

So glad I bought this! Perfect for my mag loop antenna! Great quality.

I recently purchased the SIRUI AM-324 tripod, and while I’m really happy with the tripod itself, I encountered an issue with the carrying bag. They sent me the bag designed for the AM-254 model, which doesn’t accommodate the tripod with the ball head attached. This means I have to remove the ball head every time I pack it, which is quite inconvenient. However, aside from this issue, the tripod itself is excellent.

三脚の足を延ばすためのロック機構に心地よいクリック感があり、回転させる距離も短く、スムースに足を伸縮できるのがポイント。以下、短期間での使用ではありますが、同サイズ、手持ちのレオフォトLS-324Cとの比較をした個人的な感想です。・10層カーボンの剛性は、LS-324Cのほうが少し上に感じます(AM-324の剛性に問題があるわけではない)。・足の出し入れに関しては、上記どおりで、こちらのほうが上。・全高は、こちらのほうが高い(たたむとLS-324Cのほうが短い)。・コストパフォーマンスは、こちらが上SIRUIの製品は、これまで一脚・雲台を使用し、信頼できるものでした。その経験から迷いなく購入しました。耐久性は使用を重ねなければわかりませんが、いまのところ問題ないと思っています。
