There's nothing not to love about these blankets but the price.They are huge. For me and some of the uses I guess it could even be a downside. We live in a tropical climate, and even with a really big baby (he was 60 cm at birth, and now at two months is practically the size of a 6 month baby) it is still quite big for a swaddling blanket as i feel it ends up having too many layers to not keep him too warm. But it's a minor complaint since my boy can't stand being swaddled anyway and starts a Houdini "let's find the fastest way to get out of this thing" mission as soon as you wrap it around him.They are also wonderfully soft and the prints are very cute. They take abuse well (I am notorious for not following care instructions, esp for things that my baby needs to be wrapped in and that will end up in his mouth... those all go on sanitize cycle or get boiled on the stove now that I don't have a washer).As a first time mom I definitely go with bigger is better, because the bigger the blanket the more uses you can get out of it. I always have (at least) one in my diaper bag and i use them:- to put the baby on it on couches, sofas and the like; and here is where the big comes in great because if I need to I can cover the surface AND the boy at the same with one blanket- shade him from the sun on short distances,- as a burp cloth (it is quite large for this use but can do),- as a nursing cover (i fold it in half so it is not transparent and tie a knot on one side then put it around my neck; i can still see the baby from on the top of my cover but no one else can see anything, and the material is light and breathable which is very important in this climate)- as a blanket to cover the baby in places with a/c or at night- as additional shade on the car seat (don't need it with the stroller cause the Britax that we have has a great shade esp combined with the car seat)So, that's how I've used them in these two months but there are more ways for sure... it is also very absorbent and could be used as a diaper (not sure that I'd want to put such cute prints to catch the poo... but it can be done) or a towel.Secretly I can't wait until I don't need them for the little one anymore so I could snatch them and use as a sheet to cover myself at night (yes they might be a bit small for this but like I said we live in the tropics so full coverage is not something I really need)... but then it is much more likely that I will just promote them to toddler bed blankets... in other words I'd love to get more if only it wasn't for the really high price tag.

I mean seriously, this is four blankets for a baby. I am not sure why I thought they would solve all of life's problems ... which is the only reason I paid what I did for them! Our baby doesn't really give a crap about which blanket we use, as long as he can squirm his way out of the swaddle and/or put it in his mouth, he's good.I would say if you can get a deal on these, sure, get them. They are light, breathable, and very large which is great for swaddling. Some blankets feel like they are going to bake your little one, these do not feel that way at all but will keep him warm.

I purchased these and another set at nordstrom and just washed them today. The ones I purchased from this seller at amazon had whole bunch of lint and three of the four blankets were damaged/ripped after wash. The same blankets (just different design) purchased from nordstrom were perfectly fine. Has anyone else experienced this? after the wash I can tell these are the same quality blankets. Aden and anais makes decent blankets and burp clothes but the ones I purchased from amazon through this seller is certainly not aden and anais.

These blankets are lovely and soft and have great designs. They've been washed a couple of times and there'as no sign of deterioration so far. Our newborn however always wriggles out of them when we used them as swaddling blankets which is SIDS hazard. So we now use Miracle Blankets to swaddle him and they're a lot more secure.

In terms of muslin blankets, aden + anais classic series is the way to go. We received another brand of muslin blankets but they were smaller (44" x 44" instead of aden + anais' 47" x 47"). The other brand must've also shrank more because they were too short to swaddle our baby effectively. Our baby is now 23" long and we can still use aden + anais to swaddle her. I also use muslin blankets as a nursing cover, stroller cover, blanket, to wipe up spit up if burp cloths are not nearby.

Omigosh! These blankets are terrific - this is my second set! I am a new mom and received a set of these at my shower. I liked them so much, I had to order another 4. They are soft and snuggley; warm, but breatheable. Their large size makes them so easy to swaddle the baby even my husband can do it! These blankets wash like a dream and seem to get softer as time goes on. The nurses at my pediatrician's office even commented on them! They are a little pricey, but totally worth it - you will not be disappointed with this purchase!

While at the hospital, I was able to swaddle our newborn and keep him comfortable. When I got home with him, I was unable to swaddle him successfully in any of our receiving blankets. He just wiggled right out of them. I also tried a SwaddleMe, and he absolutely hated it. He kicked and cried until I took him out.Then I remembered that I had bought these blankets (mostly because I had fallen in love with the print), and pulled one out. Miracle of miracles, it worked. There was plenty of fabric, it was slightly stretchy and conformed well to his little squirmy body. He immediately calmed down when swaddled in one of these blankets. I was worried he'd be cold, since the fabric is so thin, but it layers when swaddling, and I think it just breathes really well. When I unwrap him, his hands are warm, but he's not hot. I don't know what I would've done without these blankets. I swaddle my baby in one every night.I just bought another set for a friend as a welcome home present for her second baby. And to think: I thought the price was a major splurge when I bought these, and now I consider them to be one of my nursery essentials, and I'd happily buy them again for other friends. Amazing.(Note: I also have Carter's gauze/muslin swaddling blankets now, and they're similar, but smaller. They don't keep him as warm, so I think I'll only use them in warmer months. I don't expect them to last as long, either, since there isn't as much fabric to grow with baby.)

おくるみや肌掛け、日よけ、授乳ケープなど活躍の場が多くなりそうです。4枚とも柄が可愛いので友達と分けてもいいと思います。

ベビーのおくるみ用に購入しました。マルチカラーは柄も可愛く、とっても気に入っています。おくるみとしてだけでなく敷物、布団としても使っています。夏は直接抱っこすると暑いので、この上に赤ちゃんを乗せて抱っこしてます。4枚あると洗い替えになるので便利です。お出かけの時はこれにくるんで出かけ、チャイルドシートの日除けとしても使っています。薄手なので、赤ちゃんはそんなに暑そうにしません。洗えば洗うほど生地が柔らかくなってきます。強そうな生地ではありませんが、1ヶ月毎日使って、とりあえず破れたりほつれたりはしていません。とっても便利で重宝しています！柄も可愛くてよく褒められますし☆買って良かったです☆友人が出産したら、プレゼントしたいと思います。

確かにホコリ(繊維？)はすごいです。でも柄は可愛いし使い勝手はいいし、ホコリは水通しの前にレイコップで吸って仕上げに何回かコロコロしたら気にならなくなりました。4枚買ってよかったです。最初のホコリ取りの手間が残念。
