Great handy tools, easy to use and accurate measurements!
I bought this one to replace my old multimeter that used for 5+ years. I opened the box, the first looks of the device amazed me is its compact size, big screen and big touchable buttons. I tested it with DC/AC voltage, resistance and currency, the measurements data are very stable and accurate. I'm very happy with big screen that displays digital very clear with big size - even in the dark place I can easily read the digital data (With old one I have to read very closely). The size of the device is very compact. It's very handy and easy to use - just plug in the pens (Red/Black), turn it on and select, then you can do measurements. I love it :)Overall, it's a great device, I'm very happy with it.

Good for the price point, but the voltage reading was flip-flopping between AC and DC
Tried it out as soon as I received it. The quality of the plastic doesn't feel that great, feels thin and flimsy. I prefer to have my my meters be made of thicker plastic, especially if it's occasionally connected to 240v.I tested it in a receptacle. The meter flip-flopped between AC and DC before settling on AC, I didn't like that. It was accurate when it was displaying the AC values. I liked the fact that it's able to simultaneously show the voltage and frequency. I prefer to go old school and use a meter with a knob and something that's made of thicker plastic. If I was planning to use it only for low voltage testing, it would be fine, but for 120v or 240v, I prefer something that feels a bit more robust, with thicker plastic as an insulator.

My first digital tester, it works very well.
I like this tester, first time using an automatic digital multimeter. Very easy to use, appears to be very accurate. Good features included in this product.

Didn't blow it yet
It been several months and it's still working. The auto figure helps a lot. Large easy to read screen. The price was great too.

works as expected
I don't use all the features. But I'm happy with how it works for the features I use.I use it to test batteries, and to test circuit chips for connectivity to identify broken parts or solder-bridges that need to be fixed. It has a feature where it beeps to remind you to turn it off after several minutes of being on.Pro Tip:The connectivity feature requires you to press the FUNC key to hear the beep when the probes complete the circuit. The reminder beep to turn it off is the same beep you hear when to circuit is complete, the reminder beep does not seem to wait for inactivity, just that it has been on for a while (even if you have been using it actively)also the probes it comes with are adjustable, they start out with very little metal showing (like the tip of a pen), but you can remove a plastic cap to have a typical metal prong shape instead.

Very nice....
Easy to read and operate. The leads are relatively pliable compared to others. It has one of the best user manuals I've ever seen, complete with color photos. Uses common AAA batteries. The tiny screw holding the battery cover on is a bit annoying and unnecessary as you have to peel off the plastic wrap around cover to access the panel anyway.

GREAT Toaster for the price...
Okay, just KIDDING about the Toaster thing... truly impressed with this low cost DVOM. Within 0.00 to 0.02VDC of the first-string Fluke meter it backs up. I'm 99.9% a LOW DC volt measuring guy. Only knock is that this meter's leads are of a more 'industrial' design than the Flukes. As such the tips of the probes are larger in diameter and occasionally provide a challenge getting in to really tight places. Meter is rugged. I've already knocked it off a workbench (+/- 4-feet) to a cement floor. Didn't phase it. Next I'm gonna shop for NERF meter cases for senior citizens. Stay tuned...

An excellent hobbyist meter
The media could not be loaded. This FOCHANC DM002auto ranging multimeter is an excellent entry level meter. You get a lot of features for the price. The display is sufficiently large and easy to read, and a back light can be activated for easier viewing in low light areas. The auto ranging was quite quick to lock into the correct setting and display results, with all my tests resulting in less than a second to settle and a reading in under 2 seconds. I do not have a calibrated meter to verify accuracy of this meter, but comparing it to my two other meters, this one reads between them – so I would suggest the readings are reasonably accurate. I would not trust this meter for ‘mission critical’ readings, but for the average hobbyist, this is an excellent meter. The meter is not too large so it’s easy to pack it up in your tool case or in a drawer. It is powered by a single 9V battery that is supplied with the meter. Note that the battery in the description picture is correct – the written description of using 2 AAA batteries is incorrect. The ‘hold’ button will freeze the display – handy if you are not able to apply the probes to the circuit being tested and view the display at the same time. If you press and hold down the ‘hold’ button for a couple of seconds, the back light will be activated. The exposed metal on the probe tips is very small which is both good and bad. The good is that there is little chance of shorting out something while probing. The bad is that it can be a bit more difficult to probe exposed wires or batteries as having a bit more metal exposed on the probe tip makes this easier. However, the meter uses a standard probe jack, so additional probes could be purchased and connected to the meter. When in voltage mode, the meter will pick up the random voltage created by your body when holding the probes – as can be seen in the video. The first reading that the meter settled on is when I probed an old AA battery – the reading settles at 1.353 V. The second reading settled on at 9.87 V was when probing a 9 V battery. You can see that with nothing connected to the probes, the auto range is showing ‘mV’ (millivolts) but as soon as a battery is probed, the display changes to ‘V’ to show volts.Overall, for the price and features offered, this is an excellent hobbyist tool and I recommend it. It will be replacing an older, non auto ranging meter I have. A decent device.
