Cherished Quilts for Babies and Kids: Better Homes and Gardens

This has to be one of the best books I have bought in a long time and at an unbelievable price. Beautiful projects with diagrams in an envelope inside the book. I'm not often impressed but I was with this book.

Nice book

This book has taken some time to like. Yes it has a variety of projects with detailed information on how to create the finished item...but they are presented in an old fashioned way. That said it does offer alternative colour options and the usual hints and tips. This is more of a look, decide, do and follow instruction book rather than an inspirational/ideas book with 'wow' factor.The book comes as a spiral bound folder with pattern sheets in an envelope, so the pages open easily...BUT the quality of the paper is very poor - very shiny magazine paper - I am very proud and careful with my book collection and already after 3 thumb throughs some of the pages are already broken/torn on the spiral binder. I think it is the poor quality of paper which also affects the photos.In all, not a book I would readily recommend for someone with quilting experience.

Good age range - but quite a mixed ability range in the book - more for a experienced quilter - not recommended for a beginner

Really nice book. I have already made up some of the quilts. I am a beginner and could easily follow the instructions.

Arrived as planned, in good condition, the patterns are lovely, the templates are a bonus and a nice Surprise, would recommend.

Great service and love the book

This book covers everything for a quilter, both a novice or experienced. My daughter and I had a great time looking through all of the examples and ideas it provides. It also includes patterns for appliques, etc. It not only covers making quilts, but also other crafts as well, from aprons, pillow cases, etc., from items for little ones all the way through adults. If you are like me and want a variety of quilters books with different ideas, this book should have a place on your shelf. Also, it carries the trademark from Better Homes and Gardens, so you know it has been blessed by a staff of many quilters and crafters. Buy it...you will NOT regret this purchase!

Nice and Quick Quilts great for Ronald MacDonald House.

We saw this book in the public library and checked it out. I loved the projects so much that I bought the book. I've done quite a few projects from the book and always receive wonderful praise from those who receive them as a gift or just look at them. Projects are easy to do.
