These will definitely do the job, but they're not my personal preference for heartburn (I like the chewy ones better). These are great though if you're looking for a lot of tablets for the price. I personally use these chalky ones for my tomatoes. Tomato plants need calcium, so every spring when I plant them I drop some of these around so they can gradually dissolve and add that extra calcium into the soil. Works great.
