I'm a huge fan of Whistler and this painting reminded me of that style (the muted colours, the realistic subjects, the artful simplicity of the composition), and it seems that both gentlemen were from the same time period so it makes sense that I was drawn to this Carl Holsøe piece (and I'm glad I discovered his works)! I also like that it's already framed, it's a lovely painting ready to go on my wall! Five stars.

The country cottage scene was pleasing but I felt it was a bit dark. More vibrant colours would have improved it. It is a medium size and has a frame.

This is a high-quality print of 'A Watercourse near Abcoude', painted in 1878 by Dutch painter Paul Joseph Constantin Gabriël. The painting is owned by the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, home of the Dutch masters.It's not a very large print, at 40 cm x 30 cm, but the original oil painting is not much larger, at 50 cm x 41 cm.I love this painting. It has a relaxing feel, and I love the wooden frame as well, which has a pretty pattern.

This picture arrived securely packaged and looks beautiful. It's not too big so can fit in any room and the image is high quality.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this. However I was impressed with both the painting itself but also the presentation and frame.The painting is evocative of a summer day in rural Victorian England. It has a strangely comforting feel to it.The reproduction of the colours and print quality is very good.The canvas floats inside a oak effect/wooden frame which really suits the painting.This would look good in a range of settings.Highly recommended.

A very good quality print of a landscape art with no other details except it’s titled Road Across the Hills. It looks real with a vintage feel and the frame is nicely and durably made. Perfect to fill and decorate a small wall. Comes with fixings as well. Highly recommend.
