Hawke Sport Optics Bubble Level 11m Base

I had to alter this item a little bit to get it to fit on my CZ-455. The bottom of the unit did not have enough clearance to clear the receiver without interference. I had to file about an eighth of an inch of extra clearance to get it to fit. This item also alleges to fit 9mm rails, but it would have to be altered to fit a 9mm rail as well. My CZ-455 has an 11mm rail, and with the clamping screw tightened all the way down, the unit closes up just enough to hold onto the 11mm rail; there is no gap to tighten the clamping screw down any further. Unfortunately U.S. Optics doesn't make a bubble level for an 11mm rail.

If your using a scope you cant see the bubble while looking down the scope. to use it you have to bend your head over and press your check into the check rest to attain a clear view of the bubble to level the rifle witch is time consuming and orkward and after relining your shooting eye with the scope you simply don`t know if the rifle been tilted of level again. You would be better with a fold out bubble witch you could line up with the left eye while looking down the scope with your right assuming your right hand right eyed shooter.

Mounted under my scope, so that I can see it with my peripheral vision when aiming. I was surprised to see how many times when I felt the rifle in perfect vertical position, it was slightly off, usually to one side. By adjusting my grip before aiming I was able to improve my groups especially at 50-100 meters (it is an air rifle, so at those speeds the deviation is significant at slightest misalignment). I am doing 2-3 inch groups at 50 meters and 1cm groups at 20m now. I highly recommend this bubble level.

Not a bad item, get the job done, great for the price

This works very well on my airguns. It is easier to use than levels that mount on scopes because this is already level with the receiver. Note that your gun may need a flat top receiver for this product to work well. This level is easy to install and very helpful to getting longer shots accurate.

It doesn't Fits on 11mm well. Only 9mm it fits very well. My rifle is GAMO-Delta Max. the rail width 11 mm. Thank you

The screw isn't in the middle so it doesn't press the rail as it should
