Works as advertised

THESE DO NOT WORK. FULLSTOP.
Don't waste your money on this product. It does not work. Not even a little bit. These are not hard enough to drill out a stripped metal screw.

Works most of the time
I was able to remove all but 2 of the screws that had rusted heads. The soft metal screws just wouldn’t allow the tool to grab and remove.

It Worked, but Not as Simple as I Thought
My problem screw was a wood screw for a door knob that had been thoroughly stripped. I used the tool as instructed thinking the boring side would create a recess for the extraction side to grip into. That didn't work as I thought, and I was ready to move on to more drastic measures. But, I was able to get the extraction end to bite into the screw head once I held it at an angle rather than aligned with the axis of the screw. This gave the extraction knurling much more surface area to grip and successfully turned the screw out of the door. So, four stars because it worked well enough, but not as the instructions show.

This saved me a giant hassel
I'm not sure why but I'm in the screw stripping business lately. Seems like everyone has gone Loctite crazy especially in the firearm world. Looked like I was gonna send a brand new rifle back due to a stripped screw. 1 st attempt it came right out!

The productdid not work for me.

Does not work
Unfortunately this was unable to remove a stripped screw from wood. The drill bit didn’t even seem to penetrate the stripped screw. I will look elsewhere for a way to remove it.

Weak steel
Buy a different brand if you've got something that even a little bit tight (you'll end up buying a different set anyway, so save some money and skip this product). I wore this one out with an aluminum screw in just a few seconds.
