Great introductory bow at a great price
This is my first bow. The instructions that come with it are fairly minimal, but it at least tells you that the limb with writing is the bottom limb. And they have a little detent that mates up with the riser so you don't put the limb on facing the wrong way (until it has string on it, it looks sorta odd when properly installed, due to the recurve). The only thing you technically need besides this is arrows and a target. However, a bow stringer, arrow rest, and finger tab are a good idea, as is a forearm guard.Additional limbs are available for changing the weights. And the same riser is used for 66", 68" and 70" bows, so you could buy limbs to change the bow length as well. It has bronze threaded bushings for a sight, a plunger, and a stabilizer. So there is some amount of upgrading that can be done. It also accepts Ragim Matrix limbs (which are black) if you want to change the appearance of the bow. The limbs come in 2# increments.I did not need to use the tuning system, the string appears centered on each limb. I didn't have any trouble stringing the bow and then adjusting the brace height. I set it at the low end of the range Ragim recommends. You have to check their website for this info, it was not in the manual (this 68" bow is 7.5-8.25"). Once I set the nock points with dental floss and stuck an arrow rest on it, I had no problem shooting arrows. As I said, it's my first bow, but nothing about the experience struck me as a shortcoming of the bow I chose. The bow is made in Italy, and the instructions for the bow and the tuning system included English.
