I loved this vest or half fest. It was really kind of like a large stomach belt.It looks great for a costume. I did a pirate outfit with it. It's easy. The class works well. It has a nice elastic in the back and I'm a pretty curvy plus size girl about a one extra 2x and it fit very well.I'd highly suggest it.

This is very decent quality for a low price, with a great look! This put the finishing touch on a ladies Pirate costume, and it was terrific looking and comfortable! It didn't look cheap in spite of it being plastic. Good support in the back, and stayed put all night long, even with a lot of dancing! Don't expect the lace up part to cinch in your waist. It's not designed to do that. I bought a size that matched my waist size, so it was snug like I wanted, and with all that thick elastic in the back, it did a great job of giving me an hourglass figure! (Which I remember I used to have years ago!) One added benefit, not advertised, was it also gave me good back support! Still good as new, and we have Pirate Parties every year, so I'll be wearing this for a few more years! Don't hesitate to add this to your Wench costume. It made mine!

This product would never replace a true corset, but for what it is, it's great. Looks nice overall, and adds a finished look to your outfit. I'm kind of concerned about the cleaning process. I guess wipe with a damp towel? Either way, it suits my needs and stretches without buckling severely. If you are voluptuous, it may show a crease on your side. But nothing that you can't straighten.

I hesitated to purchase this corset, but I purchased it in addition to the California Costumes Women's Plus-Size Pirate outfit. I had read reviews about the corset that came with the pirate outfit that stated it was not that great, so I wanted a back up plan. Actually, the corset that came with the costume is just fine. It's foam but it looks nice, and it's comfortable. I ordered The HOEREV Wide Band Elastic Tied Waspie Corset in size XXL. I am a size 1X on top and a size 18 on bottom. The corset is tight, but it has a stretch panel in back, and you can loosen up the lace if you want for more room. An added bonus--it gives "the girls" an added lift which goes great with the costume. I will most likely wear it instead of the one that came with the outfit because of this. It also makes my waist look smaller and it matches my leather boots. All in all, I am very pleased with the quality of the item and look forward to wearing it.

I love this corset, it completed the look. It was easy and comfy to wear! I went with the Large and it fit perfectly.

This can only be worn as part of a costume but, I was expecting something a little better. I waited a long time before ordering and order it to go with two possible halloween costumes. I ordered the wide, I was expeceting the leather looking band to be wider...so I don't know what wide means. The center is 7 1/2 inches top to bottom and the middle is 6 inches wide, the rest is elastic.I ordered the small and my waist is 31''. When it arrived I was on my way out but rushed to try it on out of shock because it looked so tiny. It's a good fit over my jeans , shirt & a belt . I didn't need to move the lace but, there was no room to adjust the velcro in back if needed.The top is tall enough and I'm busty, so I'm ok with that. I guess , I just expected a little more but I should have zoomed in a lot closer to the photo ...I ordered the red and it looks EXACTLY like the picture...it gets 5 stars for that.But it's $8.00 so I can't expect the quality like my waist sincher. It feels strong ...so I hope it hangs in there for a little while.

This was a great buy for my pirate Halloween costume. It was the perfect size, and looked super cute! It wasn’t too tight but it also want too loose which was awesome. It was super easy to put on and take off, and stayed on the whole night!

She's my new favourite belt- flattering, versatile, and goes with anything. The only caveat is something typical of all corsets in general- not a good idea for long periods of sitting down! I'm not knocking points for this, of course, just beware of the pain if you intend to use it for that purpose. I use it for exploring the city and briefly sitting, so, it's ideal.It's really stretchy, but also tight, so get your usual waist size and don't panic if you put on or lose some weight.I find this especially useful in alternative fashion or dressing Medieval, something about it just screams history and style. I'm aware that a proper corset would be more accurate but, who really has the money for those? This is cheap AND fun.And a protip- if you do wanna sit down for a while, try out an elastic belt with a metal clip on the front or back, it should be more comfy for sedentary activities :)
