Another insane deal from Elegoo!
Elegoo has been firing on all cylinders when it comes to the quality they're offering at low price points. This resin tank kit is no exception. The beefy metal frames are identical to the one that came with the Mars Printer. Its anodized surface has a texture that makes wiping off spilled resin a clean process. External measurements are 177 x 120 x 30 millimeters, assuring Anycubic owners they can partake in this bargain too.To reiterate their description, this is a KIT where the FEP film hasn't been installed. Four sheets are enclosed. Each FEP sheet has a protector clinging on both sides. The FEP has a 0.15mm thickness. Elegoo Official has a YouTube clip showing the DIY installation. As my photo shows, the Vat kit came with two 2.5mm (hex) allen wrenches to fasten the big screws. The other bag of small screws is used to help sandwich the FEP film into place. These take a 2.0mm allen wrench which wasn't in my early order. Why? Because Elegoo already gave you a nice 2.0mm hex driver in the Mars Printer's parts box! With 24 of the sandwiching screws to fasten for each frame, you'll want to use a handled driver over a janky L wrench anyway. I won't be moaning over an allen wrench when there are plenty on Amazon for less than 3 bucks. What kind of techie/maker doesn't already have a set of hex drivers anyway? The lids are way nicer than I presumed from initial pictures. They have a slight friction fit to ensure they stay on and prevent any light leakage from the top side. At the same time, they're not SO tight that it'd cause resin sloshing trying to pull it off. The thickness of the lid material is also surprising. It's easily 4 or 5 times the thickness you'll find in a SOLO cup so I don't see it easily being torn. The goodness doesn't stop there. The lid is recessed at the center just right so that if you were to stack another vat on top, the FEP film of the upper vat doesn't come in contact with the lid below it.Kudos to Elegoo for thinking out these fine details while still offering an affordable ecosystem. The printer, resins, and now vats I've bought from them have been incredible bargains that hasn't skimped on quality or performance. That's a true rarity nowadays. In ADDITION to these Resin Vats, I was also eager to get my hands on the upcoming disposable vats -- purely for the sake of convenience. After appreciating the quality seen so far, I'd be just as happy getting another set of these metal Resin Vats.

So glad I bought these!
I actually bought these for my Anycubic Photon and they work perfectly. They are a higher quality and better construction design than the original that came with the machine except that there is only a MAX line indicated on the inside rather than the multiple fill levels that mine originally came with. That is a small price to pay for the quality of these and the fact that I can buy just FEP film to replace when it wears out rather than having to buy an entirely new tray. There are not a lot of upgrades to recommend for most printers, but these are one I would suggest to anyone who posed the question.

Greatly improved my process
Am a huge Elegoo fan. Have yet to be disappointed with any of their products. These tanks are no exception.

Nice Vats, Need A Better Lid
As the title suggests, these are excellent "spare" vats to have on hand, but they REALLY need an airtight, leakproof sealing lid to be included with them. The included lids are molded and sit on there fairly well, but are only intended to keep out dust and debris. I bought these thinking they would be good for storage, but that's not the case. With that being said, the aluminum frame is superb, and the FEP install on these is flawless, so if you're just looking for extra vats and sealed storage isn't of major importance, I'd highly recommend.

These are terrific!
I printed out a couple of 'toggles' for the screw posts on my Epax E6 to hold these trays and they work great. So much easier - clean one tray while printing with the other (or put off cleaning the other one :), swap colors, do quick resin comparisons, keep a vat of go-to resin on hand while playing with another, etc. Plus no worries about fine-tuning the FEP or scratching it while installing it - these come ready-to-print.I carved a couple of finger grooves in the foam tray they came packed in to make it easier to get the trays in and out and that holds them nice and secure on my shelf, no light at all with the lids on, no scratching the FEP.I've run over 100 pints on a couple of these, no leaks, no problems at all. I agree with others that a pour groove would be nice, and maybe a lid that would fit the bottom also to have a place to set the tray down while swapping, but really no complaints at all - I'll be buying more.

Simply great!
Product arrived exactly as pictured.I loaded this into my Photon-S and it worked perfectly. There’s no setup, no comparability issues, just great results. The tension is perfect out of the box.Pros:+ You get TWO! A spare in case something bad happens? Keep two different resins filled and ready to go? Your fall.+ It includes a lid. Great idea.+ Easy to use.Cons:- Plastic parts probably don’t recycle as nicely as aluminum ones could. The bottom line is that if you are reading this listing, you probably need a resin tank. If your machine is listed as compatible then do yourself a favor and get this now.

High quality, solid value, works with other brands
Bought as replacements for the Anycubic Photon Mono 4k OEM vat (albeit somewhat tentatively), and found it fits almost perfectly. The printer lid/shield sits where it needs to and there's plenty of clearance for the build plate. The screws that secure the vat from shifting don't quite land in the perfect spot, but it's an extremely minor detail as there's no functional difference. They're really well built and seem easy to work with when it comes time to replace the FEP. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these vats for Anycubic owners with a similar vat requirement.

Great Fitting Lids!
The lids fit well enough that win my son held a one upside-down that was full of resin (why!?), the lid stayed on and did not leak! They aren't an air-tight seal, so some resin began to seep out, but I had time to get the lid off and wipe the rim before it got to the counter. The FEP film performed well in a few prints so far (no sticking problems), even with pretty substantial coverage of the build plate.
