Leica DISTO D2 New 100m/330ft Metric Imperial Laser Distance Measure with Bluetooth 4.0 - Black/Red

While this does not directly connect to an app. It is precise enough to verify my line lengths. This is critical for safe flight.

Love this measuring device. I am a residential appraiser and I use this many times a week. It is so easy to use and works perfectly. It makes my job measuring homes much easier. I have an older disto, but this one is soo much better.

Has really changed the way I measure base and crown molding. I have found it extremely accurate, easy to use and fits nicely in the hand.

Purchased the D5 Model. The optical viewer on the A5 was clearer to see the point of measure for long distance shots (verses the digital viewer of the new D5 model) ... my opinion, from my use out in the field. I hope they bring the optical viewer back (or someone else makes one. I already lost the tab cover for the USB charging port. It would be nice if the design had an attached port cover (to keep dirt out). Otherwise, this is a high quality item like the other Leica products I've used for many years.

As a track and field official, often we have to measure the length and height of jumps. This is worth every penny for an accurate measurement in the field. This laser is excellent for anyone who needs accurate measurements.

I’m a cabinetmaker and bought this to measure rooms onsite. After much testing I can say that it’s been very accurate, actually more accurate than my old eyes reading a tape. It does much more than I’ll ever use it for so keep in mind that my review is just for measuring distances. My only to cons about it is that I’d like to be able to set it to the nearest 1/16” instead of 32nds and 64ths. So I have it set to decimals which I’m more familiar with. The other thing is that the button is kinda hard to push so sometimes it’s hard to hold the laser on a certain point while trying to push the button. Neither of those are a deal breaker for me and I’d buy it again.

To small Key pad very badly design. No feeling when you touch. Unit stop working after two measurements. I had to shake it to make it work again. I am never sure when I go measuring if it is going to work or not. I can't trust the unit. The only problem I had with the previous unit was running out of battery. Very disappointed. I am thinking about returning it.

Funciona perfectamente. A veces en azulejos con mucho brillo se vuelve loco y no mide bien, pero sólp ha sido en ocasiones contadas. Muy contenido de tamaño, muy buena durabilidad. Muy contento con la compra

Ottimo misuratore laser, molto preciso e molto utili sono le funzioni che ha, come per es. le funzioni per calcolare l'area, la funzione pitagora due e tre punti, somma/sottrazione per la somma di aree, funzione "pittore" per il calcolo della superficie totale delle pareti, funzione tracciamento, la distanza minimo/massimo per la misura delle diagonali di una stanza, molto utile, inoltre l'adattatore multifunzione che è quel piccolo sportellino posto nella parte posteriore dello strumento che può ruotare e che consente di allineare rapidamente il misuratore ad un bordo. Purtroppo non è dotato di alcuni accessori come per. es. le piastre segnale (GZM3, GZM26) che ho dovuto comprare a parte e quelle originali Leica costano secondo me un po' troppo (mediamente 30 - 45 € l'una) visto che in fondo sono due pezzi di plastica e che però sono molto utili quando bisogna rilevare la distanza di un bordo. Comunque, tutto sommato, ottimo strumento per rilevare distanze, soprattutto quando si è da soli.
