These work as advertised. They twist open to allow you to scoop up the loose tea. The handle remains cool to the touch, which is what I was looking for. A few of the tinier leaves might escape through the holes, but it's an easy fix to just scoop them off with a spoon or let them settle. I'm happy with my purchase.

Great deal and convenient for loose tea. I like the long handles because unlike other tea balls on a chain, these won't get lost in the tea pot or cup! Easy to use by turning the handle to open and close, amd easy to clean.

I've been using this a few months now. I have no complaint. Easy enough to clean and does exactly what I need it to do. I use this to scoop out the tea, then twist it close at the end of the handle, then squeeze honey and I use this to mix. I don't need a spoon anymore

I am not a tea drinker so it comes as a surprise that I even came to buy this. Let me explain. Over the course of my years I have enjoyed many different types of caffeinated beverages both hot and cold, and while a cold glass of unsweetened iced tea refreshes like nothing else, the hot ones always seemed to lack. I have roasted my own coffee and used about every method available to brew it, but as I get up in the years I like coffee less and less. Eventually I came to yerba mate. This loose leaf product comes from South America and being the person I am I of course went for all the traditional methods to steep it. Problem? Well, it's messy. So I looked into different tea methods and came across the long handle tea infuser. It was a life changer. The ball is so easy to use and clean and gives me the exact measured amount each and every time, so it provides consistent strength and flavor. I open the ball, stick it in the bag, fill the scoop and twist close. It's just that simple. Perfect yerba mate each and every time. After enjoying my cup of mate I just set it on a paper towel to drain the excess fluid and later open the ball and dump the contents into the trash. Rinse and repeat. I highly recommend this for any loose leaf steeping and hope you find it as pleasing. It is well made, and I figure will last a very long time. It's inexpensive. It works. It's easy to use and clean. It doesn't get any better than that.

This tea infuser isn't bad for the price, but it definitely doesn't compare to more expensive options. The opening and closing mechanism works fine, and it's easy to fill with loose-leaf tea. My main issue is that the gap between the two rotating halves is fairly large. Because of that, smaller tea leaves can easily escape into the water while brewing. It still gets the job done, but if you drink teas with finer leaves, expect to find some floating around in your cup. Overall, it's a decent budget-friendly infuser, but don't expect the same level of filtration or quality as higher-end models.

Love the tea balls. Still carry one with me. Love my herbal tea.

A bit pricy but worth it for the innovative design... These are so easy to use. Love that I can easily scoop from loose leaf tin or bag, close, steep, pull out and open to dispose of the leaves. I don't want to use any other annoying tball again.
