Crown Retail Core Emulsion Matt Crème de la rose 2.5 L

I bought two 2.5 litre tins of this emulsion on 12th Jan 2021.The product is a good quality emulsion and it was delivered promptly. No complaints about the product or the service.However, I ordered from this supplier because none of the usual DIY stores had it in stock and I needed it quickly, having ran short, to finish off a decorating job.If you are considering buying the same product from this supplier please be aware the price is double that generally charged by the big 3 DIY stores.I wouldn't generally pay a premium of this amount but sometimes needs must .

Used to cover a formerly cold white wall. Did it with one coat with no issues. The container is plastic, which I hate, as the lids start to break up if you keep using a screwdriver when opening them. Nice creamy colour and not too dazzling once you get used to it. Please see photo.

Crown Period paints are exceptional in colour and tone and this one delivered.Used a new cloth, only water, nothing else, to clean hand marks and a thin surface of the paint comes off too. So definitely go for it if you don't have kids, teens or pets, or use on a feature wall well out of their reach. For a little over £20 it's not an altogether bad purchase.

I used this paint in our cottage in Wales - our retirement home. It has transformed it. It has a beautiful warmth to it whilst still remaining neutral and traditional. It has been much admired by my neighbours who have visited. I love Crown paint and would not use or recommend anything else.

Absolutely beautiful shade of yellow. Brighter than the yellow it replaced and love it.Used it on the Hall walls. Going to do another room with it next.Cheers the place up !!!

Beautiful colour we added some gold glitter and I’m in love with the way it looks in our hall. It arrived on time and well packed to prevent any issues with spillage. Thanks

Accepting that the colour was not going to be an exact shade (even when the screen is adjusted for white balance) imagine the disappointment to find this paint is a garish bright yellow! Rather than being the delicate light tint displayed in the colour patch window, it is as deep a colour as the yellow around the rest of the tin. Must be my mistake as I foolishly thought that it would be close to representation shown. Happy Daze..... definitely not!And the problem with such a purchase is what do you do with it once it is opened? Well it isn't going on my wall, that's for sure and it will cost money to dispose of . Shame on you "Crown".
