Hello Abbs, thank you for your question. Banyan Botanicals herbs have a shelf life of around 2 years when stored properly in a cool dark place.

Hello Sam, thank you for your question. We do not standardize or use additives in our products. It is a basic Ayurvedic principle to use the whole herb rather than use isolated active ingredients. For this reason, we do not test for the exact levels of specific constituents. The concentrations can vary from season to season depending on environmental conditions such as sunlight, water, and heat.

As far as I know, nothing has been added to the Andrographis paniculata. However, it does appear that Andrographis paniculata is a primary ingredient in something called, "Nilavembu Kudineer." I found this quote in an online publication of the American Botanical Council: "Andrographis is the main ingredient of the multi-herb formula Nilavembu Kudineer, which is used in Siddha medicine of India and also includes nutgrass (Cyperus rotundus, Cyperaceae), threadstem carpetweed (Mollugo cerviana, Molluginaceae), black pepper (Piper nigrum, Piperaceae), Indian sandalwood (Santalum album, Santalaceae), snake gourd (Trichosanthes cucumerina, Cucurbitaceae), vetiver (Vetiveria zizanioides, Poaceae), and ginger (Zingiber officinale, Zingiberaceae)."
