Kenwood KFC-1366S 5-1/4" 2-way Speakers

Great sounding speaker, these work great.

Great sound for the price for sure. It's only 5 1/4 so they're not super powerful. These went on the roll bar of a 2001 Jeep TJ - the mounting holes are exactly the same pattern, so installation was straight forward. I did have to clip off the plug-in for the OEM speaker, but it's not an issue if you have a couple of spade connectors.

Works great

After 20+ years, the speakers in my aging Honda Civic were blown. It's a somewhat noisy car, so super high-end speakers would have been wasted. These speakers dropped in easily; it took less than 20 minutes to install both of them. The sound is very clear and reasonably good for a single-speaker setup. The head unit in my car was able to drive these speakers to "very loud" levels without distortion. I think the sound is a bit midrange-heavy, but there are clear bass and clear high-end notes as well. Ultimately, I think these fall into the "good value budget speaker" category. I would certainly buy them again. Quick postscript: the old speakers that I replaced turned out to be an earlier version of these same speakers. This showed me that the polymer membrane used instead of a paper cone lasts about 18-20 years before it becomes brittle and cracks.

These were installed on a stern premium pinball machine as an upgrade.A larger speaker had to be ordered as I was going from 41/2 to 5 1/4. Great inexpensive upgrade. Other companies were charging 100’s more for similar conversion

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I needed new speakers to replace the garbage old factory ones. These were a great buy and an easy installation. Now I enjoy every moment in the car listening to my new tunes.

Awesome sounding speakers. I'm using them with an adapter for a Stern pinball machine to upgrade the underwhelming 4in speakers that come with the machine. Huge upgrade. I'll very likely upgrade all of my machines with these speakers.

Bought these to replace some blown out, 21 year old paper speakers in my winter beater and they're decent enough for the money. I wish they were able to handle a bit more power than they do but they make more than enough decent quality sound for my needs. Good purchase but temper your expectations. Audiophile grade speakers these are not.

Kenwood. Name brand. Replaced factory Honda speakers ,OF SAME SIZE, and no, notta improvement. But they are worth the money, only if you want to replace "DEFECTIVE SPEAKERS", and not expect any improvements.
