Drink it within 40 minutes!
I chose the pink cup, which is a nice colour and design. Like my other hot drinks cups, the lid is not insulated, there is just one thickness of plastic, but they work ok.To test how long a drink might stay hot, I filled this cup with hot water, which measured 94C The outside of the cup does not feel hot to the touch, which is good. The lid was secure with no leaks when I shook it to simulate being rocked around in a bag, although I also found it a bit hard to open (as in the whole lid, not just the sipping lid), so care should be taken if you want to empty very hot liquid from the cup. After half an hour there was considerable heat on the lid, presumably where the heat is escaping, and the water temperature was down to 80C. After an hour the water was at 70C, which to my mind is too cool for a hot drink. This test was done indoors.Overall, for the low price, this is a good hot drinks cup for indoors, e.g. whilst working at your laptop. However, it may not fare so well outside, and even indoors you can only enjoy around 40mins of hot beverage.

Good quality materials, but has design flaws
As a small travel cup goes, it’s not bad. It’s about the size of a Greggs/McDonalds large disposable cup for size reference. The outer shell is very strong and feels like it’s made of good quality materials. What lets this down is the design. The lid fits like a screw-in plug with a rubberised seal around the top of the threaded cap. It fits within the outer wall of the rim of the cup. The reason why I point this out specifically is because this is the main design fault. Due to this style of fitting, the rim of the cup that surrounds this threaded plug needs to be relatively thin. This causes the rim of the cup itself to be quite sharp and if you’re not careful, it is sharp enough to cut you whilst cleaning. The second issue is the cup isn’t plugged fully. The removable drinking spout cap doesn’t seem to leak when in place, but the rim of the cup does. It’s not pouring out but it leaks enough that it cannot be trusted to be placed in a bag without the threat of ruining anything in the vicinity. If you’re wanting a small thermal cup for the commute to work and you’re drinking on the go, then this will do its job. If you’re wanting to use it as a small flask to enjoy at your destination, then I’d say you probably want to be shopping for an alternative product.

No leaks, stays hot
Pretty good travel mug. It holds around 400ml of fluid comfortably and if turned up side down with the lid closed won't leak, perfect if you're keeping it in the car or simply don't want to worry about how you're holding it while moving around. The thermals are good, with a drink staying hot for a few hours, long enough for most people will want to continue drinking it at least. The kid is hard plastic, not silicone. It is also acting as a screw directly into the cup. If you've ever used a hot water bottle and screwed in the stopper, it feels very much like this. It works well though, and is both easy enough to secure and loosen when needed and won't pop off if accidently knocked over…The cups come in a few different colours. The one I got was pink, and it's a nice baby pink colour. The lighting on the camera doesn't do it justice. To hold it feels good, it's slightly tapered to the bottom so it rests in the grip of your hand well. The bottom has a bit of rubber so it should help it stay put.

Nice size and design
I really like the look of this travel mug. It fits perfectly in my hand ( I have small hands and struggle with some travel cups) - Its a nice design and super easy to clean. I tried this first with boiling water and sealed the lid - unfortunately as soon as it was tilted the lid shot off into the sink. I would recommend keeping this upright for really hot drinks. Cold drinks were no problem at all and did not leak. The lid opening is handy and easy to use. I trialled this cup with boiling hot water and left it sealed upright for three hours and it was still warm although not boiling hot. The lid is plastic which allows some of the heat to escape - in my opinion this is a good thing because there is less risk of scalding your mouth. If you are looking for something to pop a coffee in to stand and watch the football etc its ideal - just be aware of the water temperature before expecting it to be 100% leak proof for travelling in a bag or hiking !

Not very secure lid
The media could not be loaded. This is a good sized cup which fits a whole cup of hot chocolate in easily.I did find the lid is not the most secure on the flip section. As you can tell from the video it does not click into place and is easily lifted up therefore if I take on the go I have to be a bit more careful. Once the drink it made the lid does screw on easily. The cup is a lovely colour and is available in other colours. I do wish it didn't have the word coffee on as a non coffee lover as I use it for hot chocolate. It keeps drinks an ok temperature. Not as hot as other cups I have had in the past. It is easy to drink out of.
