I had to laugh when my new Boncare LCD Digital Control Extra Large Heating Pad arrived. I said to myself, I guess I'm officially old, I own a heating pad. Being 70 has its own set of perils. Sleeping with my shoulders or hips exposed to the cool bedroom air will make my joints stiff and hurt the next morning. As I lay down in bed, I put the heating pad on my blankets over my hip as I sleep on my side. The pad has a timer and will automatically turn off after 1 or 2 hours. For the rest of the night, my hips stay warm, and I have no discomfort the next day. The LCD control makes it easy to use.

Yes, this oversized heating pad is like a cozy warm hug. The pad cover is super soft and cuddly and the temperature/time control is easy to set. A reviewer mentioned it doesn't get as hot as their old one....think the newer ones are probably designed to protect people from getting burned. That said, this one still gets hot enough to keep you toasty warm and could certainly burn someone with tender skin. Love that it has a timer that turns it off, should you fall asleep...nice safety feature!

Its very soft. The control is nice and very easy to operate. But for me personally it doesn't get hot enough. Its max 149F (65C). Thats my only complaint. I knock it down to 4 stars for that. It would be 5/5 if it got hotter.

I have bought several of these over the years and always found them to work excellent and provide good value for the money. They are softer than other ones I purchased elsewhere and I like the different temperature settings that it allows me to use. I recently had an issue with a purchase within the warranty period. I e-mailed customer service and within a day they sent me a new one with no hassles. Its refreshing to find a company that not only provides a good product but also has a good customer support team behind it. I would highly recommend this product.

This was for surgery recovery and it has been a good send ! I love the auto cut offs because sometimes I’m asleep. The heat can get hot ! The material feels great . I may have to hide this one because my daughters take my heating pads for when they are on their period .

Editing my review:Purchased this heating pad this past January. Sad to post that as of last evening, March 27, the heating pad is no longer with us. I guess this explains why the heat 'moved'. It was flawed!! When I tried to use it last evening, it worked for about 1 hour and then it stopped heating. Turned the setting up as high as it could go to see if there was any life left in the pad, but sadly, it never recovered. I guess this pad was too good to be true... with its beauty, softness and digital screen! I was swayed by all of that, but NEVER AGAIN!! I wasted my hard-earned money, but lesson learned! I still am in great need of a heating pad, but I will visit an established brick and mortar location to find a replacement.------------------------------------I purchased this because my feet get cold at night so this is used every night! It is soft, a very nice size and has been comfortable to sleep with. I love the digital timer and temp control. Seeing info at a glance is very convenient. And did I mention that this pad gets HOT!! I love it. What I find weird is that the entire pad is not warm at the same time. The location of the heat seems to 'move'. I reviewed the instructions that came with it to see if this was supposed to happen (which would be weird anyway) but there was nothing to support the 'moving' heat. This is very inconvenient and I am annoyed by this, but I guess I have to live with it or maybe I'll buy another heating pad. Aside from that one flaw, the heating pad is very nice.

Loved it very much for the first week then it stopped working with E1 code showing. Sent question to the company about this and got a fast reply that they wear sending a new pad and discard the one I have. Two days later I had a new one and happy again. Great pad very soft and good control. Fast heat up and large enough to cover my entire back.
