Awesome tool
I use this everyday at work. Would not choose anything else. The battery lasts me about 6-7 working day. Great power in this impact gun. Will remover lug nuts and frame bolts with ease. Light weight.

SNAPPY POWERFUL AND LIGHTWEIGHT!
Big fan of Ingersoll Rand tools both Pneumatic and Cordless. DONT BE FOOLED BY ITS SIZE! This thing has a very fast Impact hammer and is super snappy with good torque. What I like the most is it spins and a rather high RPM so it doesn't waste alot of time unwinding fasteners. Another plus is that this tool is very light weight. Battery life will always be much longer with the 5.2 or 5.8 20v batteries so prepare for the expense of getting the bigger batteries. I don't think you'll be disappointed with this little impact. Fast, light and powerful. THUMBS UP!!

It works well.
The light is nice and it has decent power. I have the 1/2 model as well but the numbers seem to lie. My coworkers milwaukee impacts will out perform these.

Safe buy
Good tool. Not the most powerful but compact size and ligthtweight will mean it gets used often.

Excellent product but unfortunately it came without the 5amp battery! Looking forward from the seller to honor our agreement!

I've tried them all, nothing compares!
I have all but 2 of the IR IQV20 tools, and a bunch of the smaller ones as well. The only complaint that I had was the battery, and that has been resolved with the new batteries. This new 3/8 impact is now my favorite of all of my ir tools. It really is extremely powerful for its size. For people worried about the IR warranty, if for some reason you do have an issue, that couldn't be easier as well. I had an issue with a 3/8 impact a while ago. I called customer service and they had me a shipping label in an hour. Within 2 weeks I had a new tool. IR is truly the only company I have encountered that stands behind their product. Some of my co workers have milwaukee or snap on, we have done heads up tests to see which is truly the king. None of them even come close.

It’s an ingersoll rand what more is there to say the batteries are expensive but tough the settings for full power finger tight and wrench tight are amazing when using this for engine work or on steal bolts in aluminum components the charger lets you know when it’s done or if there’s a problem and will charge the 12v and 20v batteries no worries plus has a USB-A port to charge devices like your phone and what not it doesn’t have the weird key holes on the back for mounting it’s actually got holes all the way through from the front so you can mount it on the surface way easier traditional Ord power tool chargers it only has the one slot for battery charging instead of having like two ports in order to do 12 V and 20 V batteries the kit comes with a 2.5 and a five amp battery itself. I’ll be a little bit stripped back only having three instead of four and the different settings being a button on the base rather than a knob on the back, and not having different settings for the 360° shadowless light like their higher end offerings or small prices to pay when you still get those functionalities yeah it’s only got three power levels instead of four yeah only get it on or off with the light and the ability to turn it off or turn it on briefly, not lock it on or completely shut it off or change the brightness to have an IR in 3/8” drive that’s as small as this, and as powerful, it completely blows my Bosch freak out of the water and at the price of this set you could add one other cordless ratchet or angle grinders or whatever other tool you wanted by purchasing the bear tool and still have a battery for each it’s a pretty awesome set up my only regret with it was not having gotten one earlier having a cordless IR impact has been a big deal bucket list dream for me since getting into mechanics and I was not disappointed in the least the 5A batteries take A good while to charge and long-term reliability hasn’t been tested personally, but they’ve got a really good warranty and even once the warranty is up the only company I know of that offer cordless power tool replacement components for sale. The anybody who owns one can go and buy if you were motor goes bad. You can replace it if the motherboard in your cordless tool goes bad you can replace it the case you can get that too and we’re not talking about sketchy parts that you find on Chinese websites or eBay that are just disassembled components we’re talking the actual factory sealed replacements parts for service and repair of the tools that’s pretty hardcore Yeah, they’re a little on the pricey side and there’s not 6000 different aftermarket accessories or tools catering to that battery platform like you get with Dewalt or Milwaukee but you get the top of the line industrial grade power tools that give you everything that the tool truck brands use their name to make you believe they’re better than they are where as IR doesn’t care they know what they’re building and offering to sell and those of us that don’t drink the cool aid for the tool truck brands and expect the quality and power that one would expect from those brands selling at those prices will always be happy with their decision to not follow the sheeple buying Sna- I mean tool truck brands and don’t care about gadgets and gizmos that work on this platform or that platform I needed a good impact and this was so good I had to get a set of 3/8” impact sockets I was using my normal chromes with adapters most often with my Bosch Freak because 90% of the time I’m doing work using 3/8” drive on motorcycles and small gas so I got the 3/8” impact to omit the use of the adapter streamline it to one case of sockets a ratchet and my impact well this is so powerful I didn’t dare use my chrome sockets on it i rarely used my 1/2” impact socket set because that would mean 2 cases a power tool a torque wrench and one if not 2 ratchets depending if I was using my1/4” to do small stuff or just using my 3/8” for everything having multiple options leads me to streamline my workflow and now I’ve just gotta get a 1/4” drive cordless impact or ratchet and a good 1/2” drive flex head ratchet that way I’ll have one good manual ratchet and one good cordless tool to match it I’m a stickler for braking bolts free by hand and using the tool to do the rest of the work and then normally I’ll start fasteners by hand no tool at all or hold the socket or bit in my fingers to get a good grip and control of the fasteners while I start them by hand 1.5-2.5 turns to start then pop the cordless tool on drive them home relying on experience and variable speed triggers to avoid over torquing and then finishing the job with a calibrated torque wrench to the halfway point between the min and max manufacturer spec so if it’s 150-200 inch pounds 175 inch pounds it goes with a new fastener or at least having cleaned all the fits grease oil corrosion and locktite off the fastener and then chasing the threads of the threaded holes as well making sure blind holes were clean and dry not at risk for hydro locking or blowing out specifically when dealing with aluminum components….. I digress at the end of the day I have to say I’ve never been unhappy with a cordless power tool in the last 10 years but this is a significant upgrade to say the least
