Good Product
Very sturdy spoons and a good price. As other reviews mentioned, they come in an unsealed bag. But the bag was folded and closed and packed into a box perfectly. The bag was not open, the spoons were not dirty. We use the spoons for coffee, and for pet food. They work perfectly for both. Edited to add: I went to reorder these and the price was double what it was for my order last month. They were a good deal at 6.99, but definitely not at over $13

Full-size, sturdy spoons
These are great plastic spoons that are big enough to use for cereal and soup. I buy these in large quantities and dispose of them after use. I'm sure they'd be fine if you want to wash and reuse them, in which case a box of 250 will last for years, but I'll go through a box in about seven or eight months. They are sturdy, attractive spoons good for most purposes aside from digging into a very frozen container of ice cream, in which case you'll really want to either use a metal scoop or just let the ice cream melt slightly.

Decent But Not Strong
For me the ideal strength of a plastic cutlery set is what you get when you order the clear Amazon set that comes with equal amounts of knives, forks, and spoons. Those are pretty rigid plastic. I ordered these forks hoping they’d be the same but unfortunately they’re slightly more flimsy. I haven’t broken one yet, but they definitely bend when you apply pressure to them like to cut chicken etc. They’re decent for the price but you almost end up needing the knives I never had to use from the original Amazon set.

They're ok.
They're ok. Not heavy duty but a little bit stronger than the other ones I've ordered on here. They won't cut a piece of sausage but they'll just make it through eggs. They also smell like maple syrup which, if you like maple syrup, might be great. I hate maple syrup and the smell but I push through. If you're using them to poke- they'll be fine. If you're going to cut like you would with a stores "heavy duty" plastic cutlery- you will be disappointed. I won't order again for sure.

🥄🍴Excellent. Won't break when using
Nice thick and sturdy. Has some bend to them so they won't snap likes those other hard plastic kinds. Very satisfied and as expected. Does tend to melt if you immerse in a boiling pot if you use it to stir it while cooking on the fire.Otherwise, they are excellent for every day use. Well buy more when needed.

Well worth the purchase.
I ordered these when I was unable to find the plastic knives I had been buying at any local store. These are sharper and stronger than any I have bought before. I will be buying again, along with forks and spoons if I can get them from the same company. A plastic knife that can easily cut a steak without risk of breaking!

Decent forks, but they can't take the heat
These plastic forks are just OK. There are much better options out there, and I don't plan to buy these again. They work fine most of the time, but there are a couple of significant issues with them:1. The biggest issue is that the forks warp very quickly with heat. If you cook a piece of meat and then several minutes later stick one of these forks in, even just for a few seconds, the ends of the tines all curl over as if they are close to melting. I've never had one break, or completely melt, but I'm still worried about what chemicals might be getting into my food when the plastic softens and warps. Also, you can't really use a fork effectively when all the tines are curled in, so I go through a lot of forks.2. The packaging is really not ideal. What you think initially is just the shipping box is actually the container for the forks. They're just in a really flimsy plastic bag inside the box. There's really no good way I found to store them and access them; you can either put the big open box away somewhere (leaving the forks exposed essentially) or move them to a different container. On the upside, I don't think these forks snap as easily as many other brands. However, I think that's because the plastic is so soft and pliable, which is also their downfall.I think Amazon Basics should use harder plastic--somewhere in-between the current Amazon Basics forks and Solo heavyweight forks, which are the gold standard of plastic silverware durability in my opinion.

Ideal Spoons
I don't know about anyone else, but I tend to have a love/hate relationship with plastic soup spoons. Most of them are of a certain size that actually seem to make little contusions on my upper lip when I eat from them. They get tender for a few days and every time I eat after that, it's like throwing salt on a wound. I lucked out with these ones. They are actually the perfect size and the edges don't seem to be as painfully sharp. I will be using these again!
