My favorite monkey!!
This Curious George Jack-in-the-Box is absolutely adorable. The colors are bright, the music is sweet, and Curious George popping out brings so many smiles. Such a fun and classic toy—perfect for little ones.

Can withstand rough play
this toy brought back so many memories. I purchased this for my grandson for Christmas. it is easy to use he is a year and a half old. he can turn the handle with no issue. It is durable for a toddler. He knocks it down frequently and tries to stand on it. He is not that good at pushing George back in. Great family fun. Priced great. It serves it purpose. The music is clear and he knows when George will pop out.

A Good Purchase for the Grandbabies
Well made and cute. But the twin grandbabies (1 yr olds) are scared of George! So we make it pop up slow.

Little boy and Grandpa approved!
I purchased this after seeing my grandson’s reaction to a similar (more expensive) one on Ms Rachel. The 2 things that slightly annoy me are 1) Curious George doesn’t pop up at the “POP goes the weasel” part of the song. Maybe that’s not necessarily supposed to happen, but it does help to give the child (and adult) an opportunity to prepare to be scared. Maybe the point is not knowing. I’ve seen some which are timed with the song and others which randomly pop, so maybe I’m nitpicking. I’ve learned to control the pop up myself by moving the latch with my finger and releasing the lid. 2) You can’t close the lid, after shoving Curious George back in, until you rotate the handle a bit further to reset the latch which holds the lid in place. Neither of these are actually problems, but rather things to note when making a decision. I would definitely buy this one again because it’s half the price of the one Ms Rachel uses which has the same Curious George inside, but a different design on the metal box. The music sounds great. The metal box is well made and assembled. Curious George is high quality and my grandson kisses and hugs him every time he pops up and scares the crap out of him, so this purchase makes sense and makes a little boy very happy. My little guy is 16 months and he will not get bored with this anytime soon.

Gift for 1 year old
My nephew loved it. It's made and built with quality and functions like a regular nack in the box. Sound is good and fun for him. Looks good and great gift for the price.
