What I Wanted
Now that it’s dark outside when I take my dog for a walk, I bought these lights to help us see and people can see us. I hooked one on my dog’s harness and one on the handle of the lease. They work as expected. It comes with different light color options and they can be charged easily. They’re not heavy. Not sure if they are water resistant, but I don’t plan on walking my dog in the rain. The quality for the money seems about right. They put out a good amount of light for their size. I like them for what I’m using them for.

Light-weight yet durable
Easy to use, very bright, light-weight and durable. My dog has rolled around with other dogs at the dog park with this light clipped to their harness and it has continued working as expected.

Fix the catch - otherwise great.
These are better than the other brand that looks similar and more reliable than the collars. While the Blazin collars are extremely visible, the dog will turn them off when they lie down or roll on to the switch, so you have to keep turning them back on. I turn mine back on several times a day. These, however, keep right on working. Flashing red is pretty visible in the daytime. At night, solid white is better. They are only water resistant as long as the usb port plug is fully and properly inserted. That takes some dexterity and patience. It will stay inserted all day maybe 2 times out of 3. If it's not in when your dog takes a dip, this may be salvageable if you put it aside and let it dry out thoroughly. The catch sucks. If you depend on that, these come off pretty regularly. Once attached to the collar I use epoxy putty to close off most of the opening leaving only a hole big enough so this can swing on the collar's d-ring. That not only secures the light, but also makes it less likely to catch on something like a bush. If you're putting this on a small dog, beware collars. Put this, preferably 2 - 1 on either side - of a Gooby elastic V-neck harness instead. Much safer. These 2 flaws are why I gave this 1 star on durability and sturdiness. The catch can be fixed and the poor plug can be worked with, at least until it comes off and gets lost. The one other thing that is as minor annoyance that could be improved is the use of a micro-usb port. They new type Cs are much, much easier to use.

These work well. Rechargeable is a nice feature. Highly recommended.
These work very well. They can be easily attached to collar, leash or many other places. Being rechargeable is mandatory for daily dog walkers - coin batteries get expensive quickly. Attaching them to the collar has unexpected feature - the white light illuminates problem areas on the sidewalk so they are visible. Highly recommended.

Night walking made safer
These are the perfect size to put on each of my 40 lbs dogs for early morning walks. It lights up their path so they don't step in holes and can walk safely. It also let's me see them clearly in the dark so I know where they are and what might be approaching them, like raccoons or skunks. These lights aren't so bright that it blinds oncoming traffic or walkers, but is a nice white glow that lights up close to two feet area in front of them. They have stayed charged for at least 5 40 minute walks, I finally recharged them today (5th day) even though they weren't loosing their brightness, just as a precaution. Easy to charge, turn on and off, clip onto the collars, and for the price, I'll highly recommend these to all dog walkers.

Nice and bright, but won't last. - updated
I bought two sets of these for my dogs when we walk at night as I don't have side walks in my community so we are in the street and what my dogs to be seen for the rare cars that come down the road in the evening.Pros: They are really bright, which I like. They are easy to use and can clip on easily to collar, harness or leash.Con: Bought them end of August, and by October one was already struggling to hold the charge, and now it has died. So 25% failure rate in about 3 months. I'm not hopeful the others will last longer based on this experience. I know they are cheap, but come on, they are just blinking and dangling on the harness when the dogs walk. And they are not left on the dogs after the walks, so they are getting no abuse. So shoddy construction.UPDATE:12/21/23 - a second of the 4 I bought is no longer holding a charge. So that's 50% failure rate in less than 4 months.UPDATE: 1/10/24 - Contacted company and they stood by their product, even though it was past the return window. Sent me 2 new ones for the 2 that died. Hopefully these will last. I'm upping my score because when they work they are great. The problem appears to be the batteries. I think they would have been better served putting in some CR2032 batteries that could be replaced. I popped open one of them that died, and you can see what appears to be corrosion coming from the battery.

See where your dog is at night!
I received a similar product as a gift but it had a couple of button batteries to power it. It was a pain to disassemble the unit and replace the batteries. This unit is rechargeable without having to open it up. I received two so I can have one charged and ready to use all the time. This light is visible from a very long distance so it’s very easy to see where the dog is when roaming around off leash. It’s also good when walking the dog on the street with the light in flash mode so drivers can see the dog when dark. It’s great at a campground to always know where your pet is. It also helps my dog to see in front of her when she’s nosing around. It snaps on and off her collar easily.

great but fragile
When working properly this is a sensational product. But my dog shook her head once and part of it snapped off and it can no longer be used. Fortunately, it came in a two-pack.
