Love it
I have no idea what these people are complaining about. The blades lock on fine. You can use BOTH styles of blade with no issue and the vibration is as good as the fein tool. Smokes my DeWalts, Makita, Bosch and Milwaukee ones (yes, I have multiple tools sets and battery voltages) so I'm not blowing smoke up your ass like some of these reviewers who've obviously never used an oscillating tool before. If you can get it on sale and you're already on the Metabo platform it's a no brainer. ZERO issues.

You need this in your collection.
Love this tool. It cuts any number of odd things. Ideal for the home repairs you are likely to encounter. Capable of many interesting uses and crafts. Sands decently. Easy to use. Once you own one you'll ask yourself how you survived without it.

Solid OMT
A nice add to my HTP group. No negatives other than it seems slightly underpowered compared to my other Multi-Volt tools.

Works great, but....
I love Metabo, formerly Hitachi brand tools. This oscillating saw is no exception. I didn't realize Metabo now uses Starlock blades on this saw. I have dozens of good blades that don't fit this saw, and the Star lock blades are 2 to 3 times more expensive in these parts. Yes, I know I can get an adapter to use regular blades, but I wish I had spotted this before I ordered it.

Great tool
Did a first cut on drywall on setting 1 with a drywall blade. was extremely quiet and help make a precise clean cut. compared to another tool this tool is so quiet. haven't tried with other materials but very impressed at the quality of the tool and metabo brand at this point.
