Top Notch Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia
An awesome rendition of the Holy Bible (OT) in Hebrew. It has flowing grammatical apparatus under the main text that is obviously designed for students of Biblical Hebrew. I have several Hebrew Bibles but this one is an absolutely A+ tool. Also, those passages originally written in Aramaic, are word for word listed and explained in the same apparatus. At the end of the book are 67 pages of all paradigms, including Hebrew and Aramaic glossaries. The whole book has 1765 pages.I cannot imagine there is anything better out there as far as Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia goes.Top notch!Thank you to the authors!

Beautifully made edition
Just a beautifully made edition. It love to hold it in my hands because the leather is fine and soft and somehow attached to the backing with a sort of cushioning or something. I have an Artscroll Tanakh, the Stone Edition, too, but in my opinion this BHS Reader's Edition is simply more nicely made. With the Artscroll edition you get an English translation on the left and Hebrew on the right, but I got this because it lacks any English translation bit contains footnotes in English concerning certain words. There is also a Hebrew amd Aramaic glossary in English in the back, though, plus a lot of grammatical information, with various roots and nouns, verbs and irregular forms. If your goal is to actually practice what you are learning in Hebrew grammar, without the aid of full translation, then this is the Tanakh you want. I have Brown-Driver-Briggs Lexicon and various grammars so this is perfect for reading, albeit slowly since I'm a noob. But definitely worth the money, I am very please

Wonderful book, but quirky grammatical references
This is a beautiful and wonderfully practical book as described by others. Breathtakingly fast delivery! Only wierdness is the idiosyncratic grammatical reference system it employs. Perhaps it is keyed to Vance's introductory grammar. Always one more thing to learn.

Highly recommended for students of the Hebrew language!
This has to be one of the best BHS volumes I own. Although it lacks the textual apparatus, this minor setback is mitigated by the fact that it has a page-by-page lexicon. (It is, after all, a Reader's Edition.) It's primarily designed for students of the Hebrew language or perhaps Pastors that may want to prepare a sermon from the Old Testament. Additionally, the typeface is large which makes this book a bit more bulky but it's worth it because the print quality is clear which makes this edition extremely easy to read. i.e. One is not having to second guess the vowel markings while reading passages aloud.

Very nice edition.
This is a very nice edition with excellent binding. My original BHS is literally falling apart at the seams from substandard binding, and the print was always a bit too small. This edition has a supple but sturdy binding that looks like it will last forever. The book stays open without cracking the spine, and the typeface is clear and large enough to read comfortably, even with aging eyes. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
