This pot looks and feels really nice in person. The build quality seems very good and sturdy. We have just used it to make a recipe the other day and the food turned out really well. I am satisfied with how well this pot has performed so far

This is a nice looking pot and while I know it works under a flame and in the oven, I’m looking at it more as decorative and for serving. If you make something and serve it in the pot, that will make it look great on the table. It came with instructions that I can’t understand but there is more information in the Amazon description. It arrived very quickly and in tact. Nice size and authentic.

The Ceramic Casserole Dish, Clay Pot, Earthen Pot Cookware with Lid for Dinner and Party arrived in a box with Chinese on it. When I opened it the instructions were completely in Chinese. I was able to get some instruction on the Amazon page but I still don't feel like I have all of the instructions that were included. I soaked it in warm water, wiped it down with baking soda, and then rinsed it. The sides and the lids have what appear to be dark smudges similar to finger prints that won't come off. I made rice in it and then disposed of it as recommended on the Amazon page. It heated well, the rice cooked, and it wiped clean relatively easily. I want to like this pot but as there are warnings I can't interpret I am hesitant to actually use this for cooking. I'm also concerned as to what is smudged on it.
