This exceeded my expectations. The description was too good to be true, but the product is actually well-designed, and the materials are very sturdy and good quality. After freezing the water for 24 hours, the round ice cubes were perfectly formed, and they popped out of the trays easily after running some water over them for a few seconds. I purchased the 2.5-inch size ice balls that fit perfectly in my glass. It makes 8 balls per tray and comes with 2 trays for a total of 16 ice balls. It also comes with a storage container that holds 16 ice balls. It takes a minute of experimenting to discover how to separate the top and bottom sections of the trays (they have an area on one side to put your fingers and pull the trays apart). Once to you discover it, it is very easy to do. Also, the storage top pulls open easily once you discover to put your fingernail or a knife blade where the top connects to the storage bin and pull the top up. Easy! The product is not dishwasher safe, but who would do that anyway? This product is much better than the smaller molds I have tried to use in the past, and real ice is much better than the fake ice options. I recommend the product.

Great ice ball maker! Super easy to fill thanks to the water line, and the balls come out perfectly round. The ice looks amazing in drinks and melts slowly. Love that it comes with a lid and tongs too very convenient and neat.

Worth every penny. I love this set. I tend to chew ice cubes and these are a huge deterrent and I'm hoping it will help save my teeth in the long run. My husband drinks scotch so I thought this would be a nice gift but it's easier for him to just get the ice from the ice maker.It's a bit of a learning curve figuring out how much water to put in the trays but once you do the balls turn out really nice. I go just above the fill line (maybe 1/4"). These trays are awesome because it's hard to spill them and easy to release. Just run water over them for a few seconds and they pop right out.

These work very well. If you tilt them in your freezer and the water seeps out, u will have a flat spot on your cube. Make sure they're kept level. It can take a little muscle to get these out of the tray if you don't let them sit outside of the freezer for a few minutes.This might seems like common sense but don't bang these against a surface to pop them out. They can and probably will crack. I recommend letting them sit at room temp or run it under hot water for a few seconds, or twisting the tray.The design of these trays is brilliant. You don't have to top fill these so it's relatively quick to make these.I use these at work in cocktails, like an old fashioned. They work as intended. They're the perfect size and the trays stack well. I also like that it came with a container to store the ice.Freezing with hot water can give you a more clear ice cube ;)

Love these, especially how easy they are too fill after having had the singles and having to fill each ball. They are smaller than what I wanted, but set the description. Let them sit out a minute or two before emptying. They're plastic but better than the regular plastic ice cube trays. I expect these to last a long time

I got the 2.5 inch trays. I was looking for something that could make a bunch of these at once, because it was kind of a pain to remove the individual molds I had, and I didn't have enough to keep the ice stocked. These trays work perfect for me, and I love the large spherical ice as it seems to melt slower. One tip for when you're removing the ice from the trays: make sure you rinse them under warm water first. This loosens the balls from the tray so you don't have to twist them as much, and should prevent cracking. I've had these for 4+ months now and do this every time and I hardly have to twist them at all.
