Over the past year or so, I've transitioned to cooking about 50%-75% of my meals at home (an increase from a low 10% in the past). For those meals that are quite involved, I'd gotten into the happen of changing into clothing that I don't have to worry about getting messy before starting the cooking process. I thought about getting an apron before, but for some reason just never did.Now that I've used these a few times so far, I wish I'd started using aprons long ago. These aprons are lightweight enough to not feel heavy and not make ME bake when working in the kitchen. But they've also done a great job at creating a barrier between mishaps and my clothing. I also really like that the neck strap is adjustable. When they do get messy, just pop them in the washing machine and they're good as new. The pockets have also come in handy for placing my phone.The only thing I would like to see improved upon is the straps used to tie the apron in the back. I find that it's simple enough to tie a knot behind my back, but I think it would be much faster to put on and remove the apron if it used a quick snap mechanism similar to what you might see on a backpack or a fanny pack.For the current price of $15 for a 3-pack, these aprons are a steal.

I am very happy with these aprons. They aren't really a cloth apron, so the material does make noticeable swishing noises when you move around. Since we don't plan to use these for a ninja escapade in a library, the noise doesn't really matter, especially when they work great for what we got them for craft workshopping, doing dishes, and smoking meat. I was happy to find these in a "one size fits most" pack, because my boyfriend always has a hard time finding aprons that will fit him. He's a big and tall fella 6'4" and I'm 5'4" and these aprons fit both of us. The neck adjusts and the waist ties are very long, so he was able to tie all the way around himself and I was able to wrap the ties around to my front. There are two big and deep pockets on the left and right and a single, very thin pocket between those (could fit a spoon handle or a pair of scissors). The other side of the apron provides an additional protective layer. These do wash well, but we air dried them, so I don't know how they do in the drier. Great value for a pack of three good aprons.
