Feels like a new engine
Installed on my 2018 F150 5.0 with 46k miles. This intake really wakes up the engine. Plenty of intake sound paired nicely with an increase in engine growl. No kidding, the difference in engine growl is night and day. Obviously it looks great under the hood. Haven’t really noticed any increase in power, but throttle response is good. MPG has not increased. Currently waiting on my tune to arrive

It definitely sucks real well
On a 5.0 it sounds like a jet taking off.

Great intake
Man this thing really wakes up that coyote motor. It is a little pricey compared to others but it was definitely worth it

A little disappointed.
Overall this cold air intake appears to be of pretty good design. The two larger hose clamps were physically too small for the tube and didn't appear to be the same as seen in various photos of the intake. I had to drive store to store to find larger clamps. Eventually found some at a plumbing supply store. Seal at the two connections of the air box are nonexistant which may allow dust, debris and hot air into the filter area. Fixed actual air filter port with a flexible seal made from a sheet 1/8 inch thick rubber and adhesive that would allow for some give needed to remove the filter. The connection at the factory air pick-up and the filter box was sealed using Flexseal.

Truly Disappointed!
The media could not be loaded. Very surprised and disappointed with the poor quality of the ROUSH Cool Air Intake I purchased for my 2018 Ford F-150.What annoys me more than anything is that the two parts that don’t fit together we’re shipped together in the same box. All an employee of ROUSH would have to do is check that the holes line up prior to leaving the manufacturer and I would not wasted an evening on this doomed from the start project. I’m shipping it back to the seller who will then ship it to ROUSH. If I hear anything from either ROUSH or the vendor I will update this thread.Had to give a star to post this. Deserves a zero.

Half-Baked Engineering, No Quality Control
If your F-150 has the sensor wire that is attached to and runs along the outside edge of the stock air box, this Roush cold air intake DOES NOT accommodate that wire. The stock air box housing has three holes around the outside of the box. These holes are left unused on certain trucks while on others they serve as mounting points for the three tabs on the sensor wire to secure the wire. I have not yet figured out the function/purpose of the wire and why only some trucks have it yet others do not despite all being the same year/model/engine etc. In any case, without corresponding mounting holes on the exterior of the Roush box which replaces the stock box, you will have nowhere to mount the wire and will have to jury-rig it. Rather than going through the return process and putting my old intake back together, I opted to drill three holes in the outside of my new Roush intake where the plastic tabs on the wire could be inserted to secure the wire in a way that is as close to how it was on the factory box as I could engineer in the dark. The Roush intake does look amazing once it’s in and you’ve done the engineering that Roush should have done, and so far throttle response is ever so slightly improved indeed and it does seem to have a little more oomph. However, as others mentioned the holes were not perfectly aligned, but I lucked out in that mine were only slightly out of tolerance and I was able to get it all bolted/screwed together without too much effort. Also, where the factory air inlet mounts to the new Roush box, there is quite a gap, so I used electrical tape to wrap around the air inlet several times enough to get a tighter fit. Air is, after all, the whole point of this product so I don’t think a completely “sealed” system is totally necessary, but it does seem a little silly the effort it takes to bolt a nice-looking window cover over top of the Roush box when significant gaps exist elsewhere on the box...kind of defeats the purpose one would think.Overall I love the look of this system and am really enjoying the slight improvement in throttle response, as well as a seeming positive bump in fuel economy so far but haven’t put enough miles on it to be sure. However, for the price and for a name as respected as Roush, I am seriously, seriously disappointed at 1. Failure to accommodate placement of the factory sensor wire (on certain trucks) which must have somewhere to be mounted after removal of the factory air box, and 2. Obvious quality control issues with tolerances, gaps, and clearances so that one must cross their fingers when buying in hopes they luck out and get a system that isn’t too far out of tolerance that they can’t get it to work. Please, Roush, you need to make this right. At least now that you know this is a problem since you obviously didn’t to your due diligence up front, you need to either reengineer a new product to accommodate the factory sensor wire, or you need to fix the product description with a disclaimer that it will not work if your truck has that wire. And you should seriously consider doing something for the many customers who have spent their hard-earned money for a system they rightfully expected would be “plug and play” since the product description gives them no reason to believe their 2018– F-150 5.0 may actually be incompatible with this product unless one is willing to finish the engineering that Roush should have done.Make it right and protect your name, Roush.UPDATE:Just updated my opinion from two to three stars. I contacted Roush and they acknowledged the issue with the factory sensor wire and stated that you simply need to tuck it into a certain area and zip tie it away. They stated that they are going to update the installation guide to show what to do with the wire if your vehicle has it. Simply acknowledging the issue and at least fixing the instructions so that future customers are not left scratching their heads is a decent response, I think. However, the random fitment and tolerance issues will likely remain unaddressed, otherwise a well-fitting luck-of-the-draw item is probably worth 4.5 stars in my book based on good, noticeable performance improvement and the fact that it is still the best looking CAI for the F-150 5.0L on the market, IMO.
