Good afternoon,I received this product and the light was shipped and delivered on time. The light appears to be a quality build. My main concern was to combat the water from getting inside the top however the seal appears to fulfill this on going issue. I am very pleased of this product at the momentThanks

Thick seal.

Really slick looking and nice and bright. You do have to cut the tabs off as the design doesn't allow installation unless you do. I don't trust the foam style gaskets so I installed a rubber gasket that I had. The one it comes with does look pretty good though. The plastic seems like it's high quality and it looks really good on the truck. I wish the screws it came with were black though... being smoked lens, it's supposed to look slick and subdued, they should have included black screws (so I reused the ones that came on the truck) Docking one star for the silver screws and that you have to cut the tabs. Otherwise, looks like a great light.

I've had this new light installed for a couple months now. It's still working as it should and providing better and more attractive lighting than stock. The kit came well packaged with everything needed but the few basic tools needed. The one modification needed was expected as it was called out in the instructions. You can see in the picture where the stock light assembly has been removed, a second set of holes below the screw holes. There is a set of plastic pins on each end of the new light that may or may not line up with those extra holes in the truck body. Mine did NOT.. So simply use a side cutter or other tool to nip the plastic locator pin off and continue mounting light as instructed. The nice foam gasket created a good seal and outside of the pin removal this was a simple plug & play installation. I tried to get good pics in low light; but they don't do justice to how much better this light looks than the stock unit with incandescent bulbs. As long as these bulbs don't fail prematurely, this is a killer deal!

My original 3rd brake light used the common filament bulbs. These bulbs got really hot when in stop and go traffic. As a result my brake light socket started to melt. I switched out these three filament bulbs for LED bulbs. Those LED bulbs ran much cooler but they also took very little current. Because of that little draw, the truck’s computer would warn that I had a brake light out every time it started the truck.I decided to order the RAVSOFT LED 3rd brake light with smoked lens and seal gasket. This new 3rd brake light is not just a brake light but also contains the two cargo lights.The install was extremely simple. As instructed on the installation page, I needed to cut off the two plastic alignment pins. After removing these two pins, connecting the light’s plug with a “click”, and gently tightening the two mounting screws, the light fit perfectly. The included weather gasket keeps everything tight and it looks like it will seal the light to the truck very well.The light with the smoked lens looks really nice, much better than the original. Also this new light has all the LEDs pointing in the same direction. This is much better than my old light with the LED bulb replacements. Those led bulbs had the many LEDs mounted in a circle. So with this new light, the white cargo lights are pointing at an angle down into the truck bed and when I turn them on, the light is much brighter in the bed. The brake light LEDs are pointing straight back and also brighter – good for the car behind me.A nice touch, RAVSOFT also has a load resistor included and wired in. So you just unplug the old light and plug the new light in. With the load resistor, I no longer got the “Bulb-Out” warning message from the car’s Controller Area Network Bus or CAN Bus.This install was really simple. The light looks great. I should have replaced my light a long time ago.

I had replaced the stock bulbs in my 2014 2500’s third break light with LEDs but they burned out a couple times and generated error codes for a light being out. The Ravsoft light looks A LOT better and doesn’t cause and error codes. It’s also brighter than my LED bulbs despite being in a “smoked” plastic enclosure. Installation was straightforward, although I did need to remove two plastic tabs per the instructions. The foam gasket seems thick enough, definitely as thick or more so than the stock gasket. Overall, highly recommended!

Super easy to install and works well.

This 3rd brake light works great, and I’m glad I selected to receive this one. The smoke tint makes it stand out, especially on a grey truck, which is a nice addition. All the lights work and it takes less than 10 minutes to install. The plug on my truck and the plug on the light fit perfectly and you would never know this was a aftermarket piece that is on my truck.At this price point this is a great product that is highly recommended. I feel you will not be disappointed in going with this light and you will think it fits great and looks even better.

Installed the light and it leaked after the first rain. Waste of money and time.
