Top Gear - Back in the Fast Lane : Best of BBC Series 1 & 2 [DVD]

This combines the best "clips" from series 1 & 2. These are not the full segments, just snippets from, sometimes in random order. This video is side-splittingly funny regardless.I will admit it is missing some key moments. One example is Hammond is test driving a Bowler and during the segment, proclaims "I am a driving God!" This made it in the video, Clarkson's and May's comments after the segment did not and their comments were funnier than Hammond's statement. This is a minor flaw in an otherwise hilarious watch.For anybody with a sense of humour, this is a must own!

A good taster of the series, pity I never really watched them first time round, have seen the specials and the one off episode, only started watching the adventures of Clarkson, May & Hammond recently last couple of months, since all the upset this year, they have certainly kept me laughing - thank you guys pity your not still doing Top Gear.

Arrived quickly. Misread as thought it was the full season 1 and 2 but my little boy is still pleased with it

Not too bad. Good to see bits of series one as its never been repeated on Dave. Disc sleeve says 90mins running time but its wrong. Only 37 mins long. (Unless there is a disc2 that I don't know about).

Well i do! However the person i purchased them for wasn't so keen. He had seen most of them on "Dave", so maybe i got the choice wrong.

Nice for what it is and perfect for the price.But very frustrating until you can get nothing else (except. Revved up) before series 10 on DVD or Blu-ray official BBC releases.Quite annoying when knowing downloads from series 6 are available on amazon.In short, it is a "that will do" DVD.... probably from the midlands (as Clarkson would say)

è un DVD in lingua inglese che riprende alcuni servizi fatti Dal Trio fantastico di Top Gear della prima e della seconda serie del programma c'è da considerare che per i puristi è fondamentale guardare i servizi della prima serie che non è stata mai pubblicata in italiano bisogna specificare che questo DVD è tutto in lingua inglese quindi non ha i sottotitoli in italiano.

Hard to find top gear first series clips.

Firstly, with a multi region player (bought from Amazon) there is no issue at all concerning playback of this disk. The Sony just does it. As to the contents, well, it is a bit car centric. Now, I know it is Top Gear but, growing up in the UK in the 1970s when it started, it was all about cars & I never bothered watching it. I think Top Gear viewers know what I mean. The Stars in the Reasonably Priced Car are a laugh but otherwise, it concerns rather expensive automobiles; there is not even a James May to be seen. Still, it did not cost much & it is a rare early Series so, be selective what you watch on it & it will have a welcome place in your collection.
