Oh my oh my! This knife makes the ones I used to own look like piece of junk. I never spend this much on a knife and I was suspicious that I may not really like it, but this things is just amazing.Let’s talk about the size. My day to day use knife is Oster; that I got from local grocery store. You can see in the picture, I have used it to the point where it’s almost giving up. This knife is certainly bigger then that and this actually don’t have visible joints. Seems like the whole knife and handle is made of a same plate of steel(except the rubber handles attached to the side). This gives me a hope that this will last a long time.The knife is sharp from the time I took it out.And the packaging; it comes in a magnetic closure box; perfect for gifting. Looks very high quality and certainly worth every dollar.

Pros: Looks good. Nice lines, fit and finish good, nicely grained handle. Good balance, good "feel". Came sharp, and a week later yet to need sharpening.Cons: Blade a little thin, makes for a light and flexible feel. I prefer a bit more heft. Not full tang; not suitable for abuse. "Damascus Steel" ? Not sure....Overall a decent, pretty knife at a good price. No conplaints.

I find that a chef knife is only a personal best when it is tested in the kitchen; even a store check cannot assure me that it will become a favorite. Another difficulty is that when one purchases online a knife might turn out to be so thin that it can bend in use. It turns out that this knife is strong so that bending side to side is not an issue - it ain't cheap. While it arrived being sharp enough, it handily turned razor sharp after a few strokes on the steel. Also, it fits my hand in such a way that chopping is comfortable as well as quick. Very pleased.

Just received my Abzuui knife and this is my first impressions. I have not used it my kitchen. It is packaged nicely. Feels very sharp. All edges are smooth but the finish has a lot of swirls (won't effect usage). This is not a SHUN or HENKELS which cost many times more but appears to be a serviceable everyday kitchen knife.

Used for general food preparation in my home kitchen. I find myself using this knife more and more compared to the other knives in my set. It's a bit bigger and heavier than my previous chef knife but I've adjusted to that. It's razor sharp, stays that way, and is a pleasure to cut with.I hand wash and hone and strop all my knives after every use. It has held it's edge so far. I have no doubts it will continue to sharpen easily, and will hold its edge.Caution, as shipped it is VERY sharp so be extra cautious.

I’ve had the Abzuui knife for several weeks now and I’m more impressed with every new job. The superb balance and relatively light weight make it easy and fun to use. And my model with the wood handle is good looking too. The blade is strong and sharp. I have sliced watermelons and potatoes, carved meat, chopped onions and celery, and done a variety of jobs with relative ease. This is my “go to” knife for the foreseeable future. I no longer have the beautiful gift box, but it was impressive as well.

I bought this knife on Prime Day when there was a sale because my boyfriend and I were staying in a house that only had super dull knives. Most of the knives this size were like $40 or more at Target! We ordered this knife and it has been a great value, it seems very high quality and has remained sharp for the few months that we have had it. The weight and handle are very nice too.

Wanted another good knife around without having to buy an entire set. Comes in a nice case, pre-sharpened very well. I would still hone it with a sharpener to top it off. Much lighter than expected, which can be good for some. I prefer a heavy knife, but no complaints. Able to cut easily through vegetables, fruit, cheese, fingers, cured meats, etc.
