Lightcraft LC2004LED A4 Ultra-Slim Light Box, White

Very pleased with the LightCraft light box - once I'd finished with fixing it. The weakest feature (so far) was the USB power lead socket. The laminated plastic construction of the light box (or pad) left a airspace above the socket directly over the USB plug which made the connection faulty and the lead prone to detaching. The heavy power lead caused the USB plug to flex into the airspace above it and opened the USB plug casing along the seam in it.I had to pinch the USB plug seam closed, and insert two thin slivers of plastic to fill the space above the USB socket in the light box. There's now a firm connection.I hope the LightCraft company sees this complaint although the actual manufacturer is probably on the other side of the world!

Works very well for me (I have something like 55 years worth of FP/HP3 negs to go through as an ex-pro) though I think the power feed from your computer looks a little weak, hence only 4*

The brightness is amazing and it's very light weight 👍. Iv had mine 9 months and now it's broke 😕. It's always had a weak USB insert. And when knocked slightly it used to switch off. But now it won't work at all 😕. Didn't get the use out of it what I would have hoped, for the price it is.
